Call of The Zone is a standalone modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat that allows you to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – a desolate and highly contaminated region of Ukraine that has been abandoned and closed off for decades ever since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. What has been going on in this irradiated wasteland since then? There are no shortage of rumors and conspiracy theories, each more fantastic than the last. Rumors of mutated wildlife, brainwashed cults, secret experiments, and unexplainable paranormal events abound, as do promises of great riches and wildest dreams coming true for those who are daring or desperate enough to try to break through the cordon. You are about to find out for yourself what is true and what is yet undiscovered, and experience for yourself all the Zone has to offer... or to take from you.

AXR Toolset Github.com Alundaio's essential toolkit for modding STALKER files. Contains several tools including: DB Tool: The first step for anyone modifying STALKER games. DB Tool can be used to extract the db files to an editable format. Universal ACDC 1.38 Moddb.com For compiling and decompiling the all.spawn file that contains data on static spawns in the game. You will need to install ActivePerl to use this tool. SAVandT 1.1 Metacognix.com (scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to find it) The .ogg sound files in STALKER require special comments to play correctly. This tool allows you to add and edit those comments. X-Ray CoP SDK Files.gsc-game.com The clunky, crashy, and mostly outdated SDK that was designed for Call of Pripyat, but there are still some useful tools. Most addon developers will not need to use this unless you plan on doing level editing or model editing. Make sure to run the tools from the .cmd files in the \editors folder |

A quick tip for the AXR Toolkit's DB extractor: the script will extract all .db files in the target folder so if you only want to extract one or two of them, copy them to a temp folder before you run it or temporarily rename the .db files you don't want to extract to dbname.OLD (don't forget to change them back when you're done, lol 😁).
