SoCH-like No Repair for CotZ v1 addon - DoctorX Call of The Zone mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

The goal of this addon is to avoid having the player only using the same weapon and armor forever and so take advantage of the many, many weapons you'll find around.

It also then give a new interest to all that money you're accumulating during the course of the game and never really need to use
That money will then be used to buy new weapons and armors instead of just repairing the same thing forever.

Additionally, similarly to Shadow of Chernobyl the weapons the NPC are dropping on death are now of much better quality.
Originally in Call of the Zone a dropped weapon would have a quality between 30 and 70
Now similarly to Shadow of Chernobyl a dropped weapon will have a quality between 75 and 90

This way looted weapon are now very usable and are going to be good to replace your own defective weaponry.

Important note, the repair toolkits have no more use but the mechanics toolkit are still mechanic quest items, give it to them to improve their upgrading tier
Because upgrading is not disabled, you can still improve your weapons (and for some their durability), but don't get too attached as at some point you'll have to get a new weapon anyways.

Compatibility

It should be compatible with any addon that does not modify
\gamedata\configs\items\items_repair.ltx
\gamedata\scripts\death_manager.script
\gamedata\scripts\inventory_upgrades.script

It can also be used in an existing save, no need to start a new game

How to Install
--------------
Take the "gamedata" folder located in the "SoCH_like_No_Repair_V1_CotZ.zip" and move it to your ...\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of The Zone\ directory

How to Uninstall
----------------
Delete the following files :
\gamedata\configs\items\items_repair.ltx
\gamedata\scripts\death_manager.script
\gamedata\scripts\inventory_upgrades.script
