Call of The Zone is a standalone modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat that allows you to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – a desolate and highly contaminated region of Ukraine that has been abandoned and closed off for decades ever since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. What has been going on in this irradiated wasteland since then? There are no shortage of rumors and conspiracy theories, each more fantastic than the last. Rumors of mutated wildlife, brainwashed cults, secret experiments, and unexplainable paranormal events abound, as do promises of great riches and wildest dreams coming true for those who are daring or desperate enough to try to break through the cordon. You are about to find out for yourself what is true and what is yet undiscovered, and experience for yourself all the Zone has to offer... or to take from you.

Description

a compatibility patch part of my COTZ modpack, The Harmont Flavor, currently available on c-conciousness in a stable, playable, feature complete 1.1.5 release state. A moddb release in the future is in the works, possibly for version 1.2. Enough shilling! This is a standalone version of the patch i made for that pack. to install, simply install cotzwp over dante's artifacts and then install this over that. credits below: Steelhawk-the idea, telling me what needed to be patched Dante - the icon file used for the artifacts r_populik, Ga2z, Mortan, lokStre- ui icons for the respective weapons, and lokstre for compiling them. I take no credit for any of the graphics used in this patch. (please report any issues encountered here, this might not work properly, I did but the barest of testing because my main Cotz and THF installation is on a different computer)

Just to be clear, you have not edited the artifacts for this, only merged them with cotzwp?

this mod is a compatibility patch for two addons. THF is a modpack in the c-con discord focused on challenge, visual upgrades, quality of life, stability, and an 'alive' zone. I'm not sure as of yet if I'd be able to release it on moddb, all the addons are of course credited but it is a repack and therefore does not require cotz and I'm not sure if that goes along with the guidelines for addon uploading for this mod. If you've somehow managed to get yourself banned from c-con I don't want to know what you did, but I can send you the link to the download:

Drive.google.com

install this compatibility patch over that file and you're good to go

Anonymous reply cuz I'm on my phone. Thanks for the links and C-Con just has really poor administration, to put it bluntly. I was a little toxic to someone throwing a fit over anomaly mod and got banned.

Feel free to post repacks as addons for CoTZ. I do it too. Posting them elsewhere only diverts clicks (and attention) away from CoTZ, and that doesn't serve the mod at all.

In my ever so humble opinion, CoTZ is designed and built from the ground up to be repacked anyway. It's purposefully built to be as plain vanilla as humanly possible. That's why Doc went out of his way to comment code he himself would never touch again.
