Call of The Zone is a standalone modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat that allows you to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – a desolate and highly contaminated region of Ukraine that has been abandoned and closed off for decades ever since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. What has been going on in this irradiated wasteland since then? There are no shortage of rumors and conspiracy theories, each more fantastic than the last. Rumors of mutated wildlife, brainwashed cults, secret experiments, and unexplainable paranormal events abound, as do promises of great riches and wildest dreams coming true for those who are daring or desperate enough to try to break through the cordon. You are about to find out for yourself what is true and what is yet undiscovered, and experience for yourself all the Zone has to offer... or to take from you.

"MP153 replaces Protecta" - does it mean there is no protecta now? Another gun instead? Or was it added with another name and MP153 replaces the one from original game?

You can buy a Protecta from Nimble in the rookie village.

Sad, I'd only use it as a bandit.

I'm a Monolith instead.

Hope DoctorX makes Nimble neutral with each faction.

The Abakan skin is messed up, any way to fix this?

Nicely done and very stable. Gun models look very nice. Only issue I found is when I upgraded the scope on the FN2000 I got from Nimble, the scope is much too powerful. Instead of 4x it seems to be 12x.

If you open up the file fn2000.ltx in gamedata\configs\weapons, go to the section [wpn_fn2000_nimble], you can change scope_zoom_factor = 37.5 to 50. I didn't touch the upgrades file but it seems like it subtracts 35 from the initial value which explains why you get that massive zoom.

Not sure is it fixed, but in version 1.2 AK-12 doesn`t have sprinting animation if was grenade launcher attached.

All weapons that can accept a grenade launcher (GP-25 or M203) have the same sprinting animation where the weapon stays pointing forward rather than held to the side. This includes the Groza as well.

Thanks for bringing this up. You must be using a 4:3 resolution, I didn't test those until now. This is fixed in version 1.5.

Will it be possible adding a scope to the Groza-4?
Th reason in Jupiter's Map I've just found a model quite similar which has well attached own a scope in the Yanov Station precisely.

If I can give you some advice I would like to see Binoculars's 3D Model and its icon improved like this.
Steamcommunity.com

Then I wish you can improve RGD-5, F1 & Smoke Grenade's icons even because have a 3D Model well done.

iirc stcop didnt have switching animation for the GL attached to an AR (only remember ak's not having it, dunno about nato AR's) which owr had. whats the situation in your mod? ported GL switching animation from owr weapons to stcop weapons?

Hi! Great pack!

From what I played so far, and because I like it, I'll point out few little nitpicks (hopefully you don't mind):

- AK74 still shows default world model (maybe new model was problematic)

- ACOG has SUSAT as a icon in inventory also with SUSAT description (maybe intentional)

- ACOG on SIG 550 rifle in player's view sometimes doesn't show texture of the body of the scope and sometimes the texture of the lens is missing (maybe it's just my game)

Yeah, I haven't bothered switching the SUSAT inventory icon, would be an easy fix if you knew of a mod that had an ACOG icon. As for the ACOG glitching out on the SIG 550, it seems to happen when you equip the grenade launcher too. Usually unequipping and re-equipping the scope a couple of times fixes it. Annoying, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Now about the AK74 showing the default world model, I'm not sure why that would be happening. It shows normally in my game:

The default AK74 model only appears on pre-placed AKs for some reason (eg: the ones in the Freedom base (Army Warehouse) armoury / the unobtainable one on the vise behind the Freedom technician and the one in Agroprom Underground )

Edit: the view models for said AKs still show the modded one (AK74M) it's just the world model being different.

Sorry man, I don't have that much time now. All of these weapons were ported from bigger and better CoC mods anyways.

Thanks lokStre for this Weapon Pack, it is my favourite one!

SVU-A Kobra has a bug. When you install Adjustable Range-finder sigh, and press the right mouse button, it zooms indefinitely until the button is released. Mouse scrolling doesn't work as well. All scopes upgrades are unnecessary for this gun, due to build in iron sight.

This happens because it inherits the upgrades section from the regular SVU-A. I'm not sure how to remove the scope upgrades for just the SVU-A Kobra without making the game crash. If anyone knows the solution, I'd love to know how to fix this.

Hello LokStre, I have a question: This works with Smurth LilGabe Food and drinks animations?

It seems to work fine. There is only one shared file "wpn_hand_rg6_hud_animation.omf" in \gamedata\meshes\dynamics\weapons\wpn_rg6, so you might want to back up that file.

I noticed that the binoculars in this pack retain the vanilla mesh and textures instead of the new ones added by OWR or AO. Can this be fixed at some point or is it possible for me to do it myself by moving some files around?
