Dino D-Day is an exciting new First Person Shooter from 800 North (AKA Digital Ranch Interactive). This is an HL2:OB mod that has served as a prototype for a commercial release we are currently in the final stages of preparing. It is playable though we have not been supporting it for several months as we've focused all of our efforts on the commercial product. The commercial release is slated for March 1, 2011 only on Steam. It is a fast-paced multiplayer game with 12 playable classes including 3 dinosaurs. You've played World War II games...but have you played a World War II game with dinosaurs?
The final weeks are at hand! The dinosaur invasion is upon us! Dino D-Day is just days away! After two-and-a-half years in development the game that packs Nazis and dinosaurs into one explosive package is now ready for release...mostly.
While it is true we were shooting for a March 1 release on Steam we will instead push that back to March 29. Reason being, to make things like this:
You will encounter this dinosaur if you play Dino D-Day!
In the coming days we will be distributing Beta keys for the game. The Beta will include all classes and all playable dinosaurs. It will ship with one map that will be playable in two game modes - King-of-the-Hill and Team Deathmatch.
Details of how these Beta keys will be distributed is forthcoming but hopefully everyone here at ModDB will be interested and excited in taking part. If you're interested, drop me an email and let me know. We're looking for people who want to help us make the game better not only in these final weeks before release but as we move forward from there.
One other note: very soon I'll be creating a page for the game on IndieDB since Dino D-Day is now a full-on Indie game that will soon be available for purchase on Steam. For the time being though I'll continue posting news to this page.
Thanks to all for playing the mod! We on the team really hope you enjoy playing the full-game as much as we've enjoyed making it!

is there going to be another map for single player
Dino D-Day, my absolute favorite videogame. This, the mod that started it all.
Length wasn't that much of a problem for me. I tend to enjoy bite-sized games.
Too short, finished in 10 minutes, very good textures and models, sub-par mapping with invisible walls and "mine fields". The T-Rex part is not intuitive enough, you have to have him charge you while you stand in front of the bridge so it collapses but then the game is over. After that, guys and dinos around the map keep respawning but there's nothing new to experience and you can't move anywhere else. I'd say 7 for effort but 4 for gameplay and being so short. Don't buy it on Steam, the multiplayer has been full of dead empty servers for years, since late 2011.
I laughed my *** off, when I saw this mod.
One of the best ideas ever: Dino nazi's
to the person who created this: you did a great job!!
Is this single player? I know there is a multi- player version of this available on steam, so I'm confused..
there`s no singleplayer, just multplayer
And yeah, really, make a single please, it looks so awesome.
Well thats what other people recommend to do : Forums.steampowered.com
I cannot launch it, it have the same error, that "Provenance" have (SetupArrayProps_R: array prop '(null)' is at index zero). And so many years passed and no patch, but at least we made money on fans by releasing the multiplayer version of it and no Single. Good guys you are, huh ?
Well sorry, you at least have a point, unlike Provenance developer have. Well, too bad, that I and others cant play at least in Provenance anymore :(
