You, James Smith (served in SWAT for a decade with no failed ops), on vacation and driving your car to some nice place, to take a break from your usual work routines. Driving on a deserted road somewhere in Utah, the car breaks down. With miles of nothing behind, J. decides to go forward and stumbles upon an abandoned rock/sand processing factory with just one yawning guard sitting there. Pointed by the guard, J. walks behind the factory to find the phone. When he comes back, he only sees two army trucks and the dead guard… J.'s curiosity leads him inside the factory only to find that this place is absolutely not what it seems to be…

I like this! 😺
Good, innovative for more realism!
I also appreciate the fact you put the video also on YouTube, as I run XP & the video system from moddb does not play for me.
Wow I didn't know someone really uses XP these days! Very brave! But it's unlikely the mod would run on XP, you will need at least 7 but better 10 because I compile in VS 2019 :(
Oh no!!!!
From that I recall, to make it compatible, you can enable "XP toolset" in options, something like. Please do! Do not make me cry! Hehe!
Because I will not install 7 just for a game (I did not for all the other I would like to so...), and do not play on my netbook having it which is weak and unpleasant!
Yes I guess I'd have to look at that, but I'm not sure if it's possible...
From that I recall it is, search for XP tool set (maybe like "v140_xp" in project settings, enable them), something like. Or maybe you could compile by using a slightly older version, this will not hurt, and you will probably do not loose any advantage actually provided.
And if at worse you have another old game you did, to compile with it and make me test, I will be glad to check & tell you if it works fine under XP!
Sent you a PM!
Very impressive stuff!
Neat!
Pretty neat idea, to expand upon this you could project multiple dots in a cone shape <, like a spread, instead of just the direct center. works well as is, nice work.
You are not the first who tells me this :D I thought if the player doesn't know how it works, he will never notice. So I decided to not overcomplicate things. Well…maybe I will reconsider after this many suggestions haha
