Devastation Web Admin mod

Devastation Web Administration is now available. Currently on its first release the mod supports the following functionality:

• Changing the map and gametype along with other game settings.
• Displaying a player list and kicking/banning players.
• A web-based console into which normal console commands can be entered for processing.

This is an on-going development. This mod will be updated from feedback and requirement requests from the Devastation comunity.

Current work list is as follows:

• Ensure that all game settings are included on the first page. This includes going through the main interface settings to make sure they are all covered.
• Clean up the way in which parameters are used when restarting the game (currently the same parameter is passed multiple times)
• Add support for setting a map list and map parameters.
• Include support for obtaining the server status as both an XML document and an HTML document.
• Add support for un-banning IP addresses. Consider banning for a specified number of maps only (with an automatic un-ban).
• Add support for a "PlayerList" console command (may not be possible) that will list the players within the console itself.
