This small mod ports some quality of life features from GMDX into vanilla Deus Ex.
Features:
- F1-F12 keys can be rebound via "Controls" menu.
- Power Recirculator and Synthetic Heart augmentations activate automatically.
- Laser sight activates automatically on weapon draw.
- Pressing left mouse button on locked door will bring up the lockpick or the keyring, if the player has the respective key in his inventory. Likewise, left-clicking on hackable object brings up the mulitool.
- Left-clicking on any consumable (soda can, medkit, etc.) will immediately use it without putting it in the inventory. Left-clicking on a lying weapon will immediately put it in player's hands.
- Right-clicking on any selected item or aug in the inventory will use/equip respective item or aug. Middle-clicking on any selected item will drop it.
- Weapon viewmodels have been re-positioned accoring to this guide to accommodate for high FOV.
Installation:
There are four versions of the mod available in the archive, each with different viewmodel positioning. First, choose you aspect ratio (16/9 or 16/10), and then preferable horizontal FOV (110/120). Then just put the DeusEx.u file into "System" folder of the game (e.g. D:\Games\Deus Ex\System), backing up the original.

Mod uses Deus Ex Unofficial Patch v2 as a base. All code was taken from GMDXv10 and originally written by cyberP.

Hey! I really like the features this mod brings, but I have a couple of requests:
1. Any chance you could make it compatible with the Big Scopes Add-on?

That mod, and your mod, both overwrite the DeusEx.u file :(
2. I have my scope bound to my right mouse button, and I have the interact/pickup button set to the F key. The problem is that the interact button also holsters the item or weapon you're currently holding; could you find a way to disable that, so you can only use the dedicated button that is already there, to holster items/weapons?

Isn't GMDX 'v10' already vanilla?
Does it include the optional GMDX Aug wheel?
Nope. I tried to port it and failed miserably. It's just too complicated.
