That blood mod is legit too. Tired of seeing brutal **** all the time. lol gj mate.
Aww **** but it is brutal blood LOL
The reflective stuff is on the map itself.
This looks really good can't wait for it to be finished.
Hey thanks.
you still working on this
Kinda, might finish up an early version soon.
I am REALLY liking what I'm seeing here. The maps and their atmosphere are quite immersive.
The only aspect that feels "off" to me are the enemies themselves. The look more cute than dreadful, and I'm convinced that the primary reason for that is due to their proportions: they look like six year old children wearing bulky makeup.
My advice is to make the heads much smaller, and the bodies more slender, so that their proportions look more natural. If I had to err, I would make the heads even smaller and the bodies more slender than natural, so as to really amplify the emaciated look.
Keep in mind that if an enemy is wearing a helmet then it's critical to get the helmet's bulk and mass right. Far too often in video game production and even in toy creation, the figures are fitted with helmets that are far too small.
Again, I'm quite impressed with what I see here. I am completely convinced that shrinking the heads and thinning the bodies will go a long way to getting rid of their cuteness factor and thus make them a visually terrifying opponent to behold.
Good luck and thank you for sharing your hard work.
Hehe they do like kinda cute. Right these guys are basically sprite edits of the mac wolf 3d sprites. Lazrojas.com
In the future I may change up the sprite style and use something less cartoony but for now you're stuck with these dudes I'm afraid.
Also as you may be able to tell they only use front frames so they look a lil funny when they are crab walking around a room.
Or just make them as tall as the player and shorten the top of their heads.
Maybe. :)
