This Mod allows you to play as a late-Victorian nation from 1881 to 1915 (from 1875 if the fantasy scenario is counted).
Features include:
- Start dates of 1881 and 1899
- Fantasy scenarios of African-only nations, an Australian Great War, and an alternate 1875 world
- A combat simulator for testing purposes
- Aggressive AI makes many grand alliances and fuels seeds for a World War in the pre-Dreadnought age
Issues:
- No real events (except random ones)
- Flavour not yet updates
One of the main reasons for making this mod was to allow extensive pre-dreadnought combat (these ships are overshadowed in WW1) and to allow a more war-themed play of the late-Victorian era. For this purpose, a special Warship purchasing Decision has been added in v 1.1, where you can purchase ships from Western Shipyards, without using up IC.
From these start dates, you have a chance to take control of erstwhile absent or weak countries in the Vanilla game such as Qing China, the Ottoman Empire, Spain, or one of the emerging Great Powers, and lead them to world domination!
This mod was tested on Darkest Hour Patch 1.05.

Guys/Gals, I'm probably too lazy to research this myself, but if any one knows which files generally need to be replaced to make this work for 1.05, it would be deeply appreciated (Currently works on Patch 1.03)
Apparently the mod would need to have worked with 1.04 in order to be updateable to 1.05 or 1.05.1? I think that's what this guide is telling me: Forum.paradoxplaza.com
