Hi all, I'm making a mod about Crimean war since 2015. I'm working alone, so progress is pretty slow, but steady. I want this mod to be historically accurate and interesting gameplay-wise at the same time. This is the first videogame about Crimean war, I think - so I have a great responsibility to make it good :)
Today is the 165th Anniversary of the Balaclava Battle, so I guess it is a good day for the release of the mod.
The mod is for now only early Alpha-version, there will be changes later, adding new stuff and fixing errors. The mod as it is now features two maps (one is still in development) and four factions - British Empire, French 2nd Empire, Ottoman Empire and Russian Empire, new historically accurate weapons.
The mod will feature maps for every major battle of the Crimean war and fifth faction - combined Allied faction, and if I'll find a scripter - then there will be mine warfare.
Also, if there will be interest in my mod - I'll make singleplayer mod about the Crimean war.
I hope, this mod will be interesting :)

are you planning on making official servers for the mod cause i would really like to see this in multiplayer?
Currently I don't have extra money to rent a server, and my PC can't be on 24/7, so I can't make permanent erver from my PC either. I thought about events, but there were 3 players including me on the event I made, so I doubt there will be a lot of players online. That's why I'm working on singleplayer now.
But if there will be demad and there will be at least 10+ players - I can host a server for an event, with less players it will be wasting time.

Hello! I'm sorry to inform you, I've tried to make this as skin pack for NW, but I couldn't make it, there are too many issues. My mod uses different uniforms structure and, as example, I can't change which hats and weapons units have in NW, so there would be issues with units having wrong hats and weapons would float in air, because uunit has imcompatible equipment, I don't like it.
I tried to get around this, but I don't know how to make a skin pack which will function properly, sorry.
