Now you can download Mind Escape - the official successor of dead Afterword/Conversion. Another story, another idea, but brought to the end and associated with such mods as Silent Escape and Snowdrop Escape.

I'm... out of the loop. What happened, is the mod released?
So I played through the whole thing, and let me tell you this: you don't lack skills, you lack confidence in yourselves.
Yeah, it may not be as great as Portal Stories, but if any fan in your community really thinks that makes it bad, and that caused you to cancel the project in the first place, then screw them, they don't deserve you listening to them. The mod is good by itself, so don't let anyone pull you down because you're not on the same level as the bests.
Throw away those thoughts that made you doubt yourselves, because if you keep them, you won't accomplish anything. You want comparison to something big ? Look at Black Mesa. In the last parts of Xen, they ended up doing too much, and the chapter before the final boss is not fun at all, it's actually the worst of the whole game. Trying to be the best is not the way to go, just do your own thing, by passion above ambition. Otherwise, you end up with things such as Hunt Down the Freeman. Don't aim high, aim for what you can do first, and then climb up from there.
Well, I don't know what caused you to leak the content and then release this build, but it certainly gave you the confidence you need, and this mod, despite a few unpolished things, really doesn't have anything to be ashamed of. I'm glad I finally had the chance to play it.
strong disagree, Interloper was the 2nd best chapter of Black Mesa, with the first Xen chapter being the 1st best. so many new additions to the chapters compared to the original HL, yet it stuck to the story of the original, and was a challenging fight to boot!
