Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

Rig Launcher in-game screenshot. This is a new unit for Assault General. It's a vehicle for distant tunnel digging. Launches a rig which digs the ground and opens a tunnel.

I think this might have great implication, plus it won't requite too much micro-management (the way I see it). Question: will Assault Gen. receive better suicide units?
Imagine some demo-bikes standing ready beside another tunnel and, the next second, they are wreaking havoc amid the enemy line... Too sad this might discard one of my favourite anti-GLA strategies (inferno cannons behind immolators).
Assault General doesn't have suicidal units. He uses tanks and infantry instead. Suicidal units + good tanks and infantry will make Demolition General useless.
agree, and i like the assault general because of that, you don't just build units to explode, you can engage the enemy with tank assaults, artillery and good infantry. Too bad he don't have an air force, i wish he had a least a couple of helicopters(a gunship and a transport that could receive rocket pods), i know it wouldn't follow the idea of the faction(since you've got tunnels, stealth units and etc). But i like to have some cold war era helicopters
that rig needs an anti-rotation rocket engins,or it won't use it's full power
Awesome model! One thing though- isn't the drill a but too small to dig even a human-sized tunnel?
