Makes Playable factions less likely to join Confederations and Minor factions more likely to join Confederations.
I don't know about you but I do like confederations... WAIT HEAR ME OUT!!! I like confederations in Total War games. They ensure you don't fight a million 1 province enemies but a rival empire and reward you for keeping treaties with neighbors. The problem now is, that in TWS: Troy this means you lose all those legendary characters that brought you here in the first place. This mod attempts to fix this without disabling confederations.
Now every playable faction has a unique "baseline evaluation" for Confederation(befc), apart from the Amazons, who cannot be confederated anyway and Agros+Salamis, simply because i did not get around to it. This means that Ajax and Diomedes are(for now) treated as minor factions and will be just as easy to confederate as they were before.
Next the BEFC for playable factions is increaced by 20%-50%(as I do like round numbers + progression) and the BEFC for other factions is reduced by a similar degree.
(I know this is a minor mod but epic does not provide you with a comment function for your mod and I'm not opening a Discord server for this)

Hello diplomats, I've noticed that my mod got listed as "outdated" which while true is also misleading as it suggests it does not work anymore. I did lose all my project-files so I had to do it all again from scratch, which is sad, but only took a fraction of the original time.
Changes:
non-major factions get -25 to their Confederation resistance(in general)
major factions get divided into three groups:
1. I need, those regions to pass edicts! - about where Agamemnon was in the base game - Aeneas*, Diomedes and Ajax
2. THIS IS MY PARTY!!! - significantly higher resistance - Agamemnon, Hector and Paris**
3. no sir, i will not join your party - +25 resistance - everyone except the Amazons and Priam.
I chose to go with a fixed amount instead of a percentage as I noticed that this is more in line with how the mechanic works. And I wanted to keep Ajax and Diomedes somewhat easy to confederate because I think they should get confederated by Agamemnon or another Danaan, sooner or later.
But what about you? I have the files ready-ish but think it might be a good idea to get some feedback as to who might be particulary hard or easy to confederate. Any suggestions?
*Aeneas is a huge B*tch and I had to increace his resisance to still be the lowest of all Major factions.
** Paris is little shit and deserves being confederated by his betters, but I did not want to seperate him out from his chad brother, which might cause... issues. so they share a diplomatic AI.

I just wanted to upload it on epic to get ridd of the "outdated"-Tag but instead spent four hours being angry at the horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible epicgamesdev-tools. If i had a choice i'd boycott that sorry excuse of a launcher. But I can't because SEGA decided release Troy on Epic instead of Steam, or Gog or Origin. AAHHAAHHA

I don't know why, but the game crashes with the mod. Other mods are disabled.

The departure was with the mod 1.1 downloaded here. The old version used to work.

No I didn't get the error message. I open the launcher , launch the game, a splash screen appears and the game crashes. Crashes before the video starts. It just closes.

Возможно это позволит унять Пентесилею, или хоть присоединить Ипполиту, чтобы она не была белым пятном. Согласитесь DLC дают возможность сыграть за новые фракции с их механиками. Хотя эти фракции есть у ИИ. Простое присоединение такой фракции механику не откроет и не даст нанимать их юниты.
Пробую играть совместно с модом Radius, они удалили конфедерации и очень меня расстроили этим.
Мои планы на игру: попытаться уладить конфликт за Гектора и избежать кровопролития, хочу добиться союза с Менелаем и конфедерации с Амазонками. Вот это было бы круто.
I still have some projects going on, so I'm not currently working on this, but I want to Include Ajax and Diomedes in the next version. I plan to change up the values a bit so it fits better into the story.
Amazons are a different problem, I currently don't know how to include Hippolyta and Penthesilea is probably impossible. Also I think this would require a quest and a lot of scripts to make any sense.
Confederating Factions from "the other side" is currently not possible, but I am pretty sure it should be technically possible. Once I'm in the code again, I might aswell look into it and make a seperate "free for all" version of the mod.

Конфедерация "другой стороны" - это спорно, так как это враг. Но с другой стороны, хотя данайцы и троянцы это греки, у них общая культура и религия. Так что с некоторыми штрафами думаю возможно.
Если будут квесты то это будет вообще фантастика, квестов не так много как хотелось бы. Надеюсь разработчики не прекратят развивать эту игру, еще много чего нет из тог что есть в Илиаде.
Пентесилея - действительно не знаю, наверное да невозможно. Ну или просто будет стек... Все же у нее очень буйный характер. лол.
Меня Тря увлекла больше всех, она красочная, с подробной картой. Когда я давно увидел дневники разработчиков: то подумал что за бред... Всегда был сторонником материализма. Кентавры, минотавры и греческие боги - но у них получилось очень хорошо и красочно. Ведь это мифы. Атилла например - довольно мрачный.
