I have brought to life this concept art of a Railgun Base Defense Turret originally meant for the USA Faction in C&C Generals, but it was never used. It now has a home with the Global Defense Initiative's Task Force Talon Special Forces Unit. This will replace the Firebase Artillery Defense, while the Firebase Artillery Defense now replaces the Model of the Zero Hour Tech Artillery Platform.
That is damn awesome, fits Task Force Talon very well. Nice work Sarge :D

I dont like that idea, since railguns were not ever used in mass production in either TW1 or TW2... :/
In case you did not know, the Task Force Talon subfaction is in charge of developing and testing experimental weapons for GDI, many of its units such as the X0-Powersuit was actually the first step to the Wolverine, Titan, Juggernaut, and the Mammoth MKII that are all well known units in TW2. It even sorta demonstrated this in the first Tiberian Sun Teaser Trailer. This defense structure above is also meant to be the prototype to all Railgun Technology in TW2 and beyond. ;)
You realise the TFT is actually a Faction from Act of War, that used railguns pretty much everywhere?

maybe he refers to the guardian drone that also have railgun upgrade that have very same turret shape.
