From the crew that previously brought you the acclaimed C&C Tiberian Dawn Redux mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour, we proudly bring you this sequel project, C&C Red Alert Redux! The mod features both Allied and Soviet factions from the original C&C Red Alert! Attack Dogs, Tesla Coils, Naval Warfare, Gap Generators, M.A.D. Tanks, and even Chronoshifting are all included in the mod! The nation subfactions and the story campaigns are still under development and will come at a later date.
Not a BattleMaster. Its the single barreled Heavy Tank that can be seen in the OG game's cutscenes if you know where to look. However, here its a re-use of another tank model (to emulate an older T-54/55 variant) combining assets of the Heavy Tank model currently in use so its similar yet different. As we recall in Zero Hour, the factions get a general purpose vehicle (usually a tank) from a captured Tech Reinforcement Pad every few minutes. But here both the Allies and the Soviets will get something not in their normal inventory so in their case the Soviets get this somewhat "outdated" tank model since the twin barreled Heavy Tank superseded it as their MBT but many of these single barreled variants remained in the Soviet's inventory for use on the battlefield. Cool, addition of "hidden" units always motivates me to actually try to take control of various tech buildings on the battlefield. Even more than additional money. I wish mods creators did that more often. XD
