Just like Kane's Vision, this mod aims to perfect the gameplay experience of Kane's Wrath. With countless new faction unique upgrades and units, this is a comprehensive overhaul of this already great game. Every change that was introduced in this mod was with quality gameplay in mind and do justice to the lore of the factions. Furthermoe, One Vision is keen on maintaining the game's high visual level and improve upon it wherever possible.
While Reaper-17 will not be able to construct Storm-Columns, they will get their own twisted versions of basic base defense for 0.75.
The so called "Shardling Hives", "Shard Launchers" and "Crystal Missile Batteries" are cheaper and require less energy than any other base defense.
However, when placed outside of a corruption they will constantly lose health.
While Reaper-17 still cannot construct great fortifications they can ward off enemy forces with cheap and quickly built base defenses that can be sold off as soon as they did their job.
But on the other hand Reaper-17 can still protect their precious resource gathering process with shard based weapons.
Also, this image shows a unit new unit to all Scrin factions ;)
Is the Visceroids the new Scrin Unit?
It has indeed the same model as the Visceroids, however they are called "Leeches".
All factions will get an additional starting infantry unit and Scrin factions get "Leeches".
Do they drain Tib from harvesters? That would be totally awsome and give their name a purpose. I too think the Scrin Inf. roster was too thin.
Unfortunately, the engine doesn't allow stealing tib :/
Initially the idea really was stealing tib (from refineries). However, I liekd the name and later applied it to this unit.
Leeches are scout units, every faction will have a dedicated T1 scout. Normally, scrin factions really have a scouting disadvantage since Seekers are slow and Buzzers have a bad vision range.
Can't wait to play Reaper, they sound fun
