it are squads composed of 2 individual units. They are probably going to cost 500$

500$? I thought they would cost atleast 850$ and be triple the strength of a Rocket Militant Squad. Guess Ill be spamming them all day, everyday.:D
That is when Im not playing the Black Hand Master Faction, which is all day, everyday as it is right now! ;)

Very nice, though wouldn't there some slight role overlap between the Reaper and Enlightened?

One would think so, but the Reaper is a T1 unit more akin to Rocket Militants. First, his laser works best against medium and light vehicles whereas Enlightened excel against heavy targets.

Also, Reapers can shoot at air targets with their back-mounted lasers, so they actually completement each other.

Fair enough, oh not to sound like I'm complaining or anything but it just occurred to me, since your MoK is cyan instead of red, wouldn't the Reaper's cameo follow that theme too?

Yes it should. However, I have yet to change the cameos of all MoK infantry. I did some experiments but I wasn't quite satisfied with the results so far.

I didn't want to delay a new screenshot just because the cameo wasn't quite right. And tbh it's not so much of a priority right now ^^

You should add the Centurions from CnC4 for MoK as a core defender Mk2 or something.

I dont know where I'm going with this but it sounds cool

They already have Myrmidons, which are special Avatars. No need for 2 mechs in a Nod faction.

I like the centurion model, but I feel it should be some kind of heavy infantry and that role is already filled.

Actually, I've been thinking about that too. As jfpoliveira12 said, there is no need for 2 heavy mechs, but I could imagine the model of the Centurion replacing the current Avatar base model.

However, I want to finish other things first and it is not a top priority.

But please keep the grey armour and the name. Myrmidon just sounds so nice.

If I didn't been lazy I would've import the Centurion for MOK >.> they look like best mecha for MOK, though it probably won't fit with the current balance ^^

Description

Codename: The Reaper
Purpose: Fast deployable anti-armor neutralization

Report:
With the rapid advance of cybernetics it was only a matter of time before the Rocket Militant units were to be replaced with more capable anti-armor troops.

Indeed, the unique quad-leg design is monstrous and intimidating, but behind this fearsome appearance lies a very pragmatic design decision.

To cut costs, heavy lasers are salvaged from wrecked vehicles and fused to arms.
To keep an acceptable progressing speed despite carrying heavy weapons, several field tests with "voluntaries" were conducted.

The results suggested that a quad-legged walking-engine leads to optimal results, concerning the overall stamina and support of the weapon in general.

And thanks to various training programs and aid of chemical substances, "Reapers" will never complain, fall back, be suppressed, sleep or refuse to carry out orders.

Still, units of Reapers come paired with high cost as the program accounts for a high lethality rate during the creational process. To cut costs, it is mandatory to improve survivability during the lower-body amputation procedure.

However, we have limited possibilities when it comes to preventing death by shock during the brain-interface reconfiguration.

Commanders will need to adjust their tactics when utilizing Reapers and consider their lower movement speed and range of the weapon.

For future iterations, we currently test back-mounted lasers to aid our cyborg divisions with anti air support.
