The question is, is artificial intelligence also from the first part? It just seems to me that in the first part the soldiers were smarter and it was more interesting to fight them, as well as a more realistic technique: for example, when I sat down at the AAT, it really felt like a tank that sweeps away everything in its path, when, as in the second, I cannot I can't kill one soldier from a direct hit from a tank [except for the main cannon], and they couldn't be destroyed with a blaster. And yes this googl translate.
Knight45 is correct - the AI can't be directly ported, sadly. But I did restore the SWBF1 tanks.
Yes SWBF1 AI is better than SWBF2. SWBF1 AI is more balanced and tries to attack enemies equally while in SWBF2 the AI will always try to target you first even when enemy AI walks past them. It's currently impossible to port SWBF1's AI to SWBF2. This mod looks good though, will give it a try.
Will you make the same thing for CW?
Eventually I might, but it would take quite a bit of time, so I can't make any promises.
Pretty good idea! Are you going to use the SWBF1 models though (for the Rebel soldier, for instance), or are you trying to use them only where there's no SWBF2 counterpart?
Oh wait, I'm r3tarded and didn't have one of the necessary fields filled out. Should be available for download now.
That's correct - I'm using the SWBF2 models wherever possible. I've actually uploaded the file already, but apparently it has to go through some kind of authorization process :s
