Will they all be included in the first release?
I think it depends on how fast Astor gets the stuff done. Especially because a first release will probably come together with the first public ORA Tiberian Sun release. So it will be released that much as is done by then.
If he is fast he might include them but he even says, it is more likely post 1.0 stuff
GDI, Nod, Cabal and Forgotten are 100% in 1.0
The other two *might* be in - but I can't promise it.
(I see them as post 1.0 release content)

Ooo, new faction? So long as it's original and not some funky cross-universe thing, I'm all ears.
Alien factions will play very different compared to the 4 base ones.
But each faction has it's own unique style and are not just a simple skin change. The testers are all doing a great job with already over 1000 played games in less than a month.
I want to make the mod fun for PvE guys vs AI and also the competetive PvP scene. So none of our players will fall short.
Sweet, more content! Are they going to have a unique build style a la Red Alert 3?
Each faction is unique on their own. Scrin for example can terraform the map. The Seraphs are focused on mainly high micro of their warrior heroes (low in numbers, but very strong with special abilities) etc, etc
Great to hear about unique factions, but terraforming? In C&C? Sir, this was already interesting enough, but now you got my utmost attention - best of luck to you)
What's the last alien faction?
The Seraphs. An alien hybrid cybernetic warrior faction. They are the archenemies of the Scrin.
But I don't want to spoil much more :D
