Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. Here is a skirmish I had in Dead City. I was surrounded by hostiles with no way out. I had a hell of a time getting to Dead City with only starting gear because I wanted to reach Generators ASAP. I had to sneak through part of Wild Territory at night to avoid fights with Mercs because it's absolutely insane there. I ran through Yanov to get to Dead City, which is where I recorded the first part of the video. I love this mod.
Towards the end of the video I show a more polished iteration of the trade job. I hope you enjoy this little teaser.

Cant wait. This looks amazing! Do NPCs get increasingly harder as you get closer to the NPP?
well since it's meant to be unrestricted a-life anything or anyone can be anywhere so you never really know. But maybe master stalkers will b more frequently seen in the more dangerous areas (GREAT job on the mod so far cant wait)
The unrestricted alife really not restrict squads to pop up anywhere, but the squad respawn system secures, that squads will spread out from their area, so each faction has a loose territory. The closer you are too NPP, the more enemy squads will appear. On the last maps you will barely (rather none) find neutral squads, so surviving is much-much harder.

What kind of weapons will be in this mod?

Vanilla weapons but re-textured and new models. We have added most of the cut mutants, like Rats, Cats, Izloms and Zombies. There are new meshes and texture variations for all Stalkers and Mutants.
Can't wait to try it
