Cheeki breeki, brother STALKERS. Before I get into this, I just want to say that I’ve modded many games and know what I'm doing. I am using ver. 1.4 patched. Yet I just spent 8 hours straight last night trying everything to get CoC mods working and can't. First I tried ANR. I copy the folders (levels, sounds, textures) inside the gamedata directory from the extracted rar and paste them into the main CoC gamedata directory. Yet there’s no difference in game after than before. The ground’s barren with only a few shrubs. The only way I can make it so the land not one flat bland blurry polygon is though r_radius and r_density console commands, but it's a work around at best and doesn't address the issue. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Any help would be hugely appreciated, for I don't know where else to turn. Here's a video of my installation. I boot it up once to show and then install the mod for comparison. Edited by: crpchas |

Try something that add a fully new script, something like this mod. Then open log file in appdata/logs and search for the name of newly added script, there should be string: "* loading script 'script_name'.script", if the new script is not among the others loaded scripts, then there is some problem with loading content from gamedata. P.S.: And you don't messed up with fsgame.ltx are you? In CoC it's configured to read gamedata content by default, you don't need to edit it. Edited by: melighos |
