Excellent addon. It breathes in more life to even the most desolate places in the zone. I always disliked how quiet it is in some areas, unlike the other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.

Can you by any chance bring back the directional music from Shadow of Chernobyl?

Sure. Just delete game_maps_single.ltx and game_levels_music.ltx files from the config fodler.

Not what I meant. In SoC, ambient music plays from a certain direction. If you turn around, the music changes direction with you. I believe this was removed in Call of Pripyat.

I didn't check, is this included in CoM? I'm guessing it will work w/o problems if it isn't

Well, i didn't play CoM. But, i think it will work without any problems, yes.
Just read description, if game_maps_single.ltx file already exists in CoM

Hi!
I don't quite get the installation procedure as you've described it. I went to the game_maps_single.ltx file and there's already "music_tracks = generators_musics" set in section [l13_generators]
Has it been updated, or should I change it to "music_tracks = l12_stancia_2_musics" ?
Thanks!

game_maps_single.ltx file already exists in the gamedata?
If not, you don't need to do anything with files.

Should it be "music_tracks = generators_musics" OR "music_tracks = generators_musics" under the [l13_generators] section?

Hello, to install I just need to drag and drop in my gamedata folder right? Cause I'm not hearing any difference, is there something I'm missing? Thanks and sorry if it's a dumb question.

Yep, just drag and drop files in gamedata

Is there a way to tone down the frequency of the ambient sounds? They seem to play almost non-stop which really kills the immersion.

Other than music, what types of sound is added? Because I just removed all the ambient monster and gunfire sounds from my game (it's stupid to hear a gunshots when nobody on the level is actually shooting at anything).

To me it was "too much".
While I like some occasional distant gunfire or explosion, but really distant(out of level), these mutant growls and screams seemed right behind corner and was too much.
Some creepy and spooky sounds on rare occasion would be great, like subtle mutant growl and you funckin do 360 turns to find what the hell is going on... then just gtfo of there. Maybe some sounds that mutants do when just wander around.
+bird sounds native to region would be great, i never noticed if crows do sounds, but that would be great.

Great mod! Loving the new ambiance, although I agree some should be "toned down" (if possible); but I'm loving the new music!
