Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. In the original game there is a 17% chance of spawning an artifact for every artifact spawn place during a blowout. Also you can't abuse sleeping feature to spawn artifacts. This fix allows you to do it and also increases artifact spawn chance up to 95% or to your own. Now you can become a real artifact hunter. I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT DURING A BLOWOUT ARTIFACTS RESPAWN ONLY ON MY OWN LEVEL (MAP)!

everything works fine...I install this, start a new game, INSTA CRASH
And this upsets me, cause it sounds like a cool mod, buuuuuuuuut crashes like Bethesda games....maybe you will fix it
I don't have a crash log, cause I reinstalled the game and the mods

No idea if you still even look at this racdenis, but please, try updating this addon to the latest version of CoC if you can, buddy. =(
(Also solve some issues with the respawning feature, aka "it only respawns in the map you currently are".)
Yup it would be nice if it would work on other maps as well, but it could make the game a little too easy if you have a Svarog detector.
Please, update mod for 1.3.12 patch, it changed both files in archive

I. don't think it'll work with the current files. although it should be noted that they have increased (slightly) the chances of artifacts spawning (30% with the achievement, 25% without the achievement). and they have commented out the code that stopped the respawn if you slept.
what I did, was unpack CoC with the tool they give you in the downloads folder. then copy over the bind_anomaly_zone file to the proper location in the gamedata folder, and edited the line there to increase the spawns. (look for: local spawn_chance = has_alife_info("achieved_geologist") ) there are two numbers after that, you can change those to change the chance of artifacts spawning with the achievement and without it.

I use modified detectors mod and Dan's artefact balance mod does any of those 2 conflict with this mod? when i installed it i instant crashed or is new game a MUST do with intalling this mod

if you delete the surge manager script, worlds will load, however i am not sure if the mod will then work as intended.

However it would be nice if someone with modding knowledge could revive this mod, i would try it myself, i already compared the old and new files with WinMerge, but i am simply not qualified enough.
I am still searching where to increase the blowout frequncy.

I am confused on the code that stopped the respawn if you were sleeping. I have to ask, what code am I looking for?
