This mod adds a series of new weapons from Saints Row and Saints Row 2 into S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl. 2024 release.

Show your true colours with the Saints Row Weapons Pack! This mod brings a selection of Stilwater's finest weapons to the Zone for you to use to your sinister liking. Also includes sounds, textures and weapon statistics that are faithful to Saints Row and Saints Row 2.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Please make a backup copy of your gamedata folder before you use this mod. A new save game is recommended when using this mod.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Grants the player with access to a variety of new weapons from Saints Row and Saints Row 2.
- Players will spawn with weapons as soon as they start a new game. Ammo for their weapons can be bought from most traders (buying said ammo is an option for all factions). One can adjust faction_loadouts.ltx if they wish to create custom loadouts (free programs like TeXworks or Notepad++ can help you with this).
- Features updated weapon models ripped straight from Saints Row and Saints Row 2, accompanied by weapon sounds that are faithful to their originals.
- Does not affect NPC loadouts.
- Only tested for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl (1.4.22). Not tested or adapted for other patches. Use with other patches is done so at your own risk, though frequent crashing may occur.
- New game highly recommended.
NOTABLE ISSUES:
- Minor clipping issues may occur at high field of view (FOV) settings.
- Spawning items via the debug menu on lower resolutions may cause crashes (this can also sometimes occur in vanilla installations of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl). Resolutions of 1280x720 and 1920x1080 are recommended.
- Not all weapons from Saints Row and Saints Row 2 have been included for technical reasons.
- The custom sounds for these weapons have not been commented in-game. Even when commenting them, they still play at the same volume regardless of the player's distance from the source of the sound. Due to this, I have modded these weapons so they cannot be dropped by the player as to not risk them getting spooked by the sound of this weapon in the case that they're picked up by another NPC (see the aforementioned sound commenting issue above). Also ran said sounds through the Level Editor, but to no success. These will still work in-game, though. Take care when playing Azazel mode as the player can drop these weapons upon death (dying and dropping these weapons alone, or their acquisition by NPCs, will not make the game crash).
INSTALLATION:
1. Extract the .zip or .rar file for this mod. After that, copy the gamedata folder and use it to overwrite your current gamedata folder, or paste it in your S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl directory where your gamedata folder should be. Make sure to back your files up!
