In august 2019 i've started modifying/replacing some tiles for blood, It started as a nonsense, butit grew until it became more serious.
I discarded the initial tiles and started to make new tiles by sticking to the original ones.
I used 80% of the original blood palette, but sometimes this does not work when we talk about highdefinition, too many parts were of a flat color, so not everyone has the original palette but verysimilar colors.
Also the sprites have been edited, some are almost identical to the originals and others have hadmodifications for the same reasons mentioned above.
I have also started to make some models, I had never done anything of 3D, so it has been learning onthe fly, for now there are not many but new ones will also be added.
It has been six months of a lot of work, it is not finished at all, in the near future I will continueuploading updates, until all the tiles are completed and refined.
EMPHASIZE ONE THING ------------> nobody pays me to do this, and nobody forces you to use it, it ispossible to edit the DEF files and change or cancel what you don't like.I do this because I am having fun, I learn by the way and I force myself to do things that I would notdo otherwise, so if the comments are going to be to say bullshit or troll about whether this or that...does not interest me. Constructive criticisms of course, yes.

02. USAGE

This mod is ready to work with buildGDX at this time (Nblood in the future), you just have to unzip thefile XHD_Blood_Vxxx.rar and copy the two resulting zips in the "autoload" folder where you have bloodinstalled.
E.g. :
C:\games\blood\autoload\ZXHD_Blood.zip
C:\games\blood\autoload\ZXHD_Models.zip

In the bloodgdx.ini file I recommend making some modifications so that all will looks as intended:these are the values

03. COMPATIBILITY

100% compatible with "Blood Upscale Pack 2.07B" by phredreeke (https://www.moddb.com/games/blood/addons/blood-upscale-pack-207)

Not fully compatible with "Blood HD HUD Module" by Xrossaxis(https://www.moddb.com/addons/xrosss-hd-hud-upscale-redraws)
Some tiles are repeated in both mods and depending on which one is loaded it can cause some inconsistencybut only at the level of graphic perception.in successive updates I will correct this, it is just like that right now for lack of time.I will talk to Xross.

If you want to use all three mods at one time you need to start buildGDX with this line parameters:

I've included a bat file in the rar, simply drop the "highres buildgdx.bat" in the same folder where youhave "BuildGDX.jar" and run the bat file.
make sure that the jar file referenced in the bat is named in the same way.

Necrobitz, great work!
But there is a error in your models\scene.def
STATUE 01 is set to tile tile 485 the same tile as the GRIFERIA (faucet).

hi there, i just found a bug with one of your 3d models:
in map e3m1 in the first room there is a book on a furniture/box
it is just a low quality 2d flat image of a book... with your mod it becomes a 3d detailed image... but it hover in middle air like a ghost. i think there is something wrong about an "offset", since without your mod the 2d image sticks perfectly on top of the box, while with your mod the position seems shifted along x or y axis

Thanks nixosgl i know that problem, bloodgdx doesn't resize mmodels and the book on this map has some alignenent with a wall or somethinf, the vanilla maps need some touches to fit well the models but without a propper 32bit mapedit that support hires textures and models It is a difficult task, In brief, it is a lack of implementation of parameters in buildgdx, I hope that in the future m210, the developer, can correct them.

i found a way to fix this, since i am already editing the official maps..., i created a copy of a vase nearby, changed the informations to those of the book and the sprite graphic too, also set it to explosive object like the original book...

after deleting the original book, and moving in the copy, that just sticks in place :D
