A mash-up of Blood and Doom 64, created by MrFroz and Chunky Norwich.
Upgrade which makes Dead on Arrival standalone and adds more D64 elements.
It's a letter upgrade and as such, it doesn't add much new content. But the improvements and fixes of this version are very important, nonetheless, and this is the complete changelog:
-Added a couple of ambient sounds.
-Automap is now clearly visible again.
-Changed the name of Body Grinder to Organ Grinder.
-Changed the music for Churn of Hell.
-Changed the sky texture for the Target Practice mini-game.
Also, targets are now completely circular and the player won't
get killed if he finishes with 6 seconds or less left.
-Corrected the titles of certain music tracks of the jukebox.
-DOOM2.wad is no longer required to run Blood: Dead on Arrival.
-Fixed the error of the ringing phone in They Are Here still
ringing after being lowered by one of the secrets.
-Flare Gun is now less overpowered.
-Gill Beasts now make sounds.
-Improved music quality.
-Mixed further Doom 64 elements in the mod.
-Otherworld now has got a shortcut to avoid swimming in the lava
-Phantasm can now take damage from fire weapons.
-Rearranged order of maps by number.
-The Demonoid Phenomenom bonus level is now more challenging.
Also, monsters can no longer fall from the floating fortress.
-Three more autosaves were added to first episode.
-Tweaked difficulty settings for the They Are Still Here mini-game.
Even though Dead on Arrival can now run without DOOM2.wad, it's recommended that you still play with it in case of experiencing missing sprites or sounds. We sincerely hope you enjoy this offering, and please report glitches if you find them.
