I have a mapping experience of more than a year and i can do alot better than that and i also know that if you'r mapping looks like this... then you should get more experience until you release you'r own mod. You can see some work of me very soon since i am working on an upcoming mod for HL2.
Just look at the textures! They are not even aligned, a five year old could do that as i sad before...
This needs a lot of work.
Visit some mapping forums and join a community. Thats what I did. Just keep practising and make sure that your work has improved before posting screenshots.
Quick Tip: Rather than filling a room or hallway with enemies, spend longer on architecture (e.g. Support beams, lights, wall details and such.
