Hello and welcome to the 3rd developers blog! In this blog we will be talking a bit about the coming update (1.4) and further updates in the future.

I. Version 1.4

Recently you all have noticed that the developing of Bellum Imperii has resumed after a 'break' of more than a year. This being put to a side-project next to my other project. I do want to further overhaul the mod to my best capabilities. To give you, the player, the best possible experience while playing this modification!

As I don't want to hold 1.4 to long of for you all, because it has been a long time already. I'll keep the expanding amount of new scenes for instance to a minimum. Instead, I'll focus the coming weeks on fixing as many of the bugs that have been reported/I have found. After those are fixed/removed, 1.4 will be released.

II. Future updates!

So what after 1.4? I am planning to divide the remaining work that has to be done on the mod in these future patches. As some have rightly noticed, some factions just haven't had their share of love like f.e. Rome has had. So to give you an idea on how the next updates will be about here a small list of what's upcoming.

1.4.1 - Hotfixes: For any important bugs that might come with 1.4
1.5 - Parthia: Creating unique scenes to replace all the current forts and towns of parthia and other possible aspects of the faction that have to be re-done.
1.6 - Custom Battles: Replacing the naval scenes with some proper battle scenes for you to have some quick battles on!
1.7 - Germanic Tribes: Like with Parthia, new scenes etc.
1.8 - Naval Combat: Overhauling the naval combat to the best I can.
1.9 - Sarmatia: New scenes and other stuff.
2.0 TBH

With this way I will be able to focus more on each aspect of the mod and gives you an idea on what will be next in line in the development!

Sounds like a great plan. I'm particularly looking forward to expanded factions, like Parthia & Sarmatia even if it's a long way off.
