Bellum Imperii is an complete overhaul modification for M&B: Warband. It represents ancient Europe and parts of Africa and Asia during Marcus Aurelius reign of the Roman Empire.
Description
Here it is! After a long year with ups and downs with the development the 1.0 has finally arrived! Please do note, that due to a lack of time for proper testing. There could still be flaws. However all major bugs that were in before should be fixed now so the mod should be perfectly playable! Future patches and hotfixes will cover the aspects that haven't been touched yet due to a lack of time. (Naval warfare in particular and much more scenery) Well enough of that! I hope that you lads will have an enjoyable time! Instructions: 1. Download the mod 2. Extract the Bellum_Imperii folder in your "mount&blade; warband/module folder" 3. Launch Warband, select Bellum_Imperii and play!

That normall means that you runned out of RAM, try lowering your graphics or use DirectX7 if you aren't already!
i tried it with DirectX7 and it chrashed again but not with the Problem of runtime error but warband doesnt run anymore
but because of the ram i have a 4gb ram is that too weak ?

yes i am from Bulgaria and it is downloading very fast it is great mod,but why don't you make some more armors and swords : idea 1 greek hoplites armors, doru and sarisa

i tried the game and it crashed when i started a new game and now it wont stop crashing at the loading screen

Good mod tough,but yet i feel like its vastly lonely cause of the huge world i think you should put more of lower lvl bandits and more of them to be ecountered while wandering just for the cause of denari making in early game. Good mod,keep the good work. :)
I agree, adding more bandits will help early game. Great mod. Been waiting for this one for years.
Mod is awesome no doubt but the lower lvl bandits should be implemnted like to get some Renown and honor early up and denari but i am only a new player of Bellum played back a while it was still in alpha correct me if i am wrong i think greek states were part of it or i saw it in another mod cause i played lots of mods.? :)
Will see what I can do! Actually I had hoped that I've had solved the lack of bandits issue with this patch but it seems it need some more work haha.

hey,nice work and a huge improvement over the last version.It feels like a very stable and authentic experience.However i have encountered a problem.Some of my roman troops don't use their shields.Also the proficiences make little sense.I mean the last tier aux. archers start with 0 proficiency in archery.It's nitpicking really,so nothing too serious.Keep up the good work :)

Hey man! So in my 1.0 game, none of my legionnaires have shields. They only carry the gladius. Any idea what may be causing this?

My pleasure man. As far as I can tell it is only the legionaries. My auxiliary units (Cav, archers, etc...) all use the shields. Only the legionnaire infantry don't use it.
Alright. In a few days ill release a hotfix for these minor issues.

Another problem I'm seeing is this little choke-point in the alps keeps snagging armies and they sit there and run in place for days. Also, I'm not able to enter the W. Frontier Fort. Here is the location in which I'm talking about Steamcommunity.com

Is it an error that the leadership perk only gives one extra command slot? Am I missing something? It's going to take ages to build a decent sized force xD
Its normal. The more renown you get the more slots you get.
Hm. What dictates renown? I am changing reputation but nothing I have done thus-far has altered my renown.
Doing quests and winning battles are some of the ways to get renown. There are more but can't name them all like that. :p
