This mod aims to add in much more content than the original game, including new sounds, fx, textures, maps, GUI, HUD and of course, new tanks. It will use all known public downloads, plus many new editions.

Greetings fellow Battletankers! We are pleased to announce our first full release! This version includes:

  • New authentic tank pictures for GUI.
  • New HUD.
  • Many new maps.
  • Many many new tanks.
  • New music.
  • New textures.
  • New sounds.
  • New fx.
  • Some cameo's.

How to install:
Just place the folder where you please, whether the Battletanks directory itself(Back it up if so), or anywhere else. To create a shortcut on your desktop just right click on the battletanks exe in the folder and click the option to create a shortcut. Simple as that! :).

Known bugs:
*Bumpy ride crashes, creator forgot to edit it to be compatible with our games, so for now ignore it. *Sheridan's turret is messed up, will be fixed.
And as far as I know, that's about it. If you find any other bugs, please be sure to let us know! :) Anyways, enjoy the mod, and please give feedback of how you liked it aswell, or how you didn't, and we'll consider changes or fixes if possible. So, enjoy! :).

Did you try compatabilty mode?
right click the shortcut or exe and select compatability
then select Windows xp service pack 3, or service pack 2 and so on. One of them should get the game working.
I've ran several old games in Windows 7 with this mode.

For those who may stumble upon this: The memory access violation and crash is due to the T-80 tank being set up incorrectly. To fix: go into the "Tanks" directory, find the T-80.tank file. Edit with any text editor. Line 7, where the mesh for the turret is specified. There's an extra "\M10" in the filepath, delete that extra M10, save, and now the game should work great! Also, this mod shipped with a broken map, "Bumpy Ride" crashes to desktop, memory problem. Delete this "Bumpy Ride" from the "Maps" directory with your game and you can avoid crashes when Quick Play randomly chooses this map.
