I've spent so many hours to make my own version of Battlefield 2 which looks like an upgraded original battlefield 2 for playing in Co-Op and Singleplayer with better mechanics, effects and FX. It is not a mod with many new vehicles, maps or something like that.

A lot of modders and their works made this possible.
Special thanks to Development groups of Heat of Battle (Heat of Battle), Project Reality (Project Reality Team), BFHD (Barr3l Rid3r / Bull3t Productions) mods and all those who created, edited and added custom guns, vehicles and skins addons to the battlefield 2 modding community (like: marxistguy, Penguinhh2345, -Fl4m3s-, ~M~I~Ł~O~S~Z~, DICE, Develop013, Chuc, EnemySniper, Eversmen and many more). I owe you all for your hard works and my job was mostly editing or completing your creations.

This mod will be uploaded soon for free download, install and enjoy it. There is no plan for future versions or adding and developing further or making money with it.

Fixed F35 Bots Take off on aircraft carrier (finally after all these years - not 100% but works most of the time)

Bots use AT Mines and Claymore Mines now

Bots in second seats of aircrafts use maverick missiles on ground targets

Bots can use hellfire missiles in conjunction with turrets on helicopter gunner seat

Bots will engage targets using helicopters gatling guns and turrets

And the most important part was Optimizing and fixing a lot of objects and codes to make it nearly NO CRASH or CTD at all.

Hi everyone, hope you are fine and having good time.

During tests of singleplayer and coop multiplayer, I've encountered some small and big problems :D, good news is 0 crashes in singleplayer but had a lot of bugs and crashes in multiplayer which managed to fix all of them so you will be fine if you follow my instructions after release which will have a video dedicated to it. I know you are happy now but it's not completely good news because some contents HAD to be removed for stable multiplayer experience, that's why I decided to release the mod with a switch for singleplayer and multiplayer coop with a single click. let's see how final version looks like and what changes happened.

Multiplayer Co-Op:

Everything in singleplayer version is present in multiplayer BUT with limited destruction (No vegetations, No Houses or similar, No Barracks, Factories, etc)

Destruction in Co-Op includes only these: all kinds of Fances, all kinds of Walls and some military objects like vehicle shelters and towers (communication, floodlight and military mast) plus some barrels and some of the boxes

Full support of dedicated server to play alone or with friends with WORKING ARTILLERY and drops (no visual bugs for clients), I knew you would ask so I mentioned :)

Unfortunately for now aircrafts (jets and helicopters) fire extinguisher not working in dedicated server. It works as listen server btw. (working on it, hoping to find a workaround)

Artillery has some small visual differences from singleplayer version in order to work in coop without bugs. (No Blue/Red signal smoke and strips which are visible in below image of Singleplayer version)

Singleplayer:

No dedicated server support when playing singleplayer version (can't be fixed, you can still use dedicated server in coop version with limited destruction)

Gameplay:

Destruction of nearly everything (based on works of Penguinhh2345 and CHPower mod devs), edited one by one and made them to take damage and destroy only by explosions and heavy shells, not some small firearms like rifles or pistols and similar. (watch the new uploaded video)

Trees are rammable by heavy vehicles and with enough speed. (watch the new uploaded video)

Updated materials damage table.

Added Switching guns for some kits of every nation. (watch the new uploaded video)

Added unique A10 Thunderbolt behavior which will BRRRRRRRTTT... some ground targets in addition to bombing runs :) (watch the new uploaded video)

Bot Air jets will engage in dogfights using cannons a lot more instead of insta using air to air missiles (missiles still present) - this results in more air action (helicopters and jets) for maps.

Changed all vehicles physical stats to their real stats with some modifications to make them not break the game xD. (weight, engine, handling)

Bots will use Claymore Mines and AT Mines better (they don't kill themselves now most of the times and will not chase their target across the map with mine in hand and not using guns)

Mines will not detonate on friendly units. (It's better this way)

Artillery and drops always worked in singleplayer without any problems and still works.

Bots behaviors and gunplay improved further.

Maps:

Small fixes, everything is fine now.

Graphics:

Two different in game graphic settings preset will be available to use, one with highest setting and another with lowest settings possible that works and won't crash or create problems. (Sorry but you can't set everything on low, it just won't work that way)

My made from scratch Reshade preset is included in mod and is optional to use. (Watch the new uploaded video for comparison with vanilla)

Do all the steps of installation guide in download page and you will get it working.

Nice work bro outstanding you worked on every missing aspect of heat of battle added more guns , artillery support co-op and other additions you made , bro this is amazing I having been playing heat of battle for a very long time since its my most preferred mod . But this is everything I want in heat of battle , once again nice job . I was scrolling through YouTube and I happen to come across your mod . I quickly investigated cause to know more .
Well there are some questions I would like to ask before I download though I have exams write now so I don't to be distracted but I would play this all day after exams
1)Can new maps be added
2) can extra guns be added since you made provision for weapons change in the soldier classes
2) according to your installation manual I have to quit it and open it again after every match does that go for single player as well

I'm very glad that you found this mod and like it.
Answering your questions:
1)yes, new maps can be added but I won't be doing it as I mentioned before. People can create addon maps freely and upload it.
2)yes, extra guns can be added too, but they should be edited correctly in order to prevent crashes from happening (not recommended if you ask me)
3)yes, after every round (doesn't matter completed or not) you should restart the game to prevent bugs like missing icons of HUD and MAP and maybe crashes to happen.

I was just scrolling around YouTube and I found your video, man I very excited , cause for the past month i have been playing heat of battle and i was looking for new maps to add i must say this is a very huge improvement and it was a good idea to build on the heat of battle mod I can't wait to start playing it

Wish you all the luck with this my man! You are doing God's work here by using Heat of Battle as a core for your mod. Heat of Battle was my favorite BF2 mod but it was too riddled with bugs that kinda ruined it overtime for me (I even tried fixing some of the bugs myself but I'm not that smart enough to fix a lot of the major bugs). Lookin' forward to the release!

Look's great and i have questions:

1. Will you make vanilla style mod with only smart AI?
2. Will be commander bot spawned and actually use artillery, use UAV, send supplies and also engage in combats?
3. Will be bots have own automatic responses (like from players) like for example warning about throwing grenades and etc.
4. Will be bots finally use ladders?
5. Will be sniper bots act like real snipers and shoot from buildings?
6. Will bot squad leaders choose medic class?

1. About vanilla style what changes should be undone, I'm asking because it's 95% like vanilla (with expansions ofc) only with better aspects.
2. Artillery usage is present and will be used automatically on cooldown by both team (no player needed to be present), supply and vehicle drop are on request of squad leaders, UAV request unavailable. (commander uses satellite scan of map to find enemy positions and use artillery but won't be shown to or be used by players - other scanning tools are already present in game :D)
3.Bots have available responses for their actions.
4.No, it's because of bots pathfinding on the maps and can't be done.
5.Unfortunately not. Sniper bots have same behavior patterns as other bots but will engage at long distance if they are able (spawn wise).
6.I didn't even look into it before your message but don't think so, Medics can't be squad leader due to conflict with their revive behavior.

In first question, you mean which one feature should be removed in vanilla style mod? Well changed graphics, factions and stuff from xpack, destruction of buildings, changed states and others should removed in vanilla mod but keep smart AI only. About second question, i mean will be alive commander bot spawned and will behave like other bots and shoot enemies and capture flags? And about third question, i mean like for example when i played bf2 coop with my friend, player yelled "frag grenade!" when he throwed grenade at enemies. So will be bots also have automatic responses again? Sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.
