since we have WW2 starting in September of 1939 I felt it was important to update the US Navy's complement of aircraft. I've added in the SBC3/SBC4 Helldiver biplane to join the F2A Buffalo as the default carrier-based airplanes at the start of the WW2 game. if players want to have access to the Wildcat and Dauntless they're going to have to purchase new carriers! this gives Japan a significant advantage at the start of the WW2 game that they SHOULD have... but was not available in the original game.
updates have been made for Brazil, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, and Greece.
we also added in the Hawker Typhoon for Great Britain.
players can expect to encounter all of these new aircraft in the WW2 game at some point.
My goodness, you have been busy. Quite a lovely collection too. Greece's compliment being particularly interesting.
What is the new release date looking like?
I'm still determined to upload something by the end of the year. even though it feels like there's still a lot of work to be done. I might just have to settle for "this is what I've got right now" and then upload something again next summer. worst case scenario, if work gets crazy-busy, it will be January.
