Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

Description
On the Klingon frontier, the D-6 battlecruiser IKS Vor'nak mysteriously goes missing. The nearest Klingon starbase receives only a partial, heavily corrupted message mentioning that the warship was being 'stalked by a shadow'.

The testing of our weapon system continues. We spent three days stalking ships at the border with the Klingon Empire. None, thus far, have been able to detect us.
At the end of the third day, it became time to test the weapon itself on the ship we had been tracking for most of the day. The transponder codes of the Type-6 warship identified it as the Vor'nak. I have no doubt that they would have been formidable opponents were they given the chance, but they were not. We approached the vessel high off of it's starboard bow and dropped the cloak at the same instant the plasma was loosed.
The weapon burned through the Klingon ship with impressive haste. There was a momentary flash of detonation when the flames must have touched their reactant and ignited it. By the time our eyes, as well as our sensors, cleared there was nothing but dust and darkness. And the echoes of what honor there could have been.
With this... victory, the testing is now complete. The Praetor wishes us to return for a full report and then to send us to our next target. From what I have heard from rumor and hushed conversation, the secret police have determined it to our boldest of unconquered foes.
Our next mission: To prove the Earthmen's weakness. To gift the homeland with another war.

You know, the first thing I do when I get home every day, is open moddb and check for updates to his page. The stories and pics are good, but together with the comments, "ship logs", and jokes, they really lighten up my day, particularly after a rather strenuous day at the office. Thanks guys.
