A shame that DAT AFT was obliterated, annihilated, eviscerated, eradicated, devastated, and let us not forget exterminated.

The detail on the ship is truly amazing! For a moment I thought you had actually implemented a form of ambient occlusion...

Ah, a Kobayashi Maru-type ship. Very well made. But I wonder what role such vessels have as we already have seen freighters and colony ships.

Ships in AoTF won't automatically restore anti-matter. They need to return to a station to resupply. This ship will serve as a mobile resupply base. I guess it will only become available in the mid to late game.

I think these ship's need some front loving personally. I am aware of our AFT! overlord's love of the rear but the ships have front's too. They also need attention. Think of the Miranda class looming menacingly towards the Enterprise. :)

*a large lightning come out of the sky and another army appears*
"We are the DAT STARBOARD faction! Nobody ever thouht about the STARBOARD! Now we will strike back!"
But the tiny army, armed with wooden klubs, is being ambushed between the attacking forces of the DAT AFT, the DAT FRONT, the DAT PIC and the DAT FRAFT armys

Description

USS Otaru approaches a very unusual - and dangerous - anomaly: a particle fountain. Approaching as near to the fountain as they dare, the crew of the Otaru aims to study the anomaly, in the hopes of finding a way to utilise it as a potentially unlimited source of fuel.

USS Otaru is destroyed a few minutes later - one of over a dozen Federation starships lost in various attempts to study particle fountains over the next century. These phenomena are poorly understood to this day.
