You know, when I've made page here, I didn't think there will be such a big respond. And this fact makes me feel very responsible for my mod now, so I'll squeeze any possible skills from myself to make something real worthy. I share some info to make some kind of checkpoint for you and myself. Let's go!
So, I've finished to edit some reticles and choose colours. Here are scopes for integrated rifles and bino. In last article I've made some kind of system, so scopes with adjustable zoom or detectors are with red reticles. And scopes on this rifles can be upgraded to have this stuff. So, that's why - red. This is Absolute Scopes by Cromm Cruac with minor edits. Gauss reticle is taken from Autumn Aurora and have been made more minimalistic.
New gasmask textures
And again, my edits based on CrommCruac's work. I've took Autumn Aurora\Misery texture as the starting point. And made my progressive damages. Dynamic hud I've used has 12 stages of condition. I've tried to make gradual degradation of helmet. I've started from Seva outfit. You use it on story quest thru tunnel to Pripyat. This suit has closed breathing system, so I've decided to add condensate gradual with cracks as a sign of bad condition. In original condensate was from the start. I'm not very cool at graphics, but this textures are not bad in result. Warning, long image ahead!
I have a month deadline to finish all textures for gasmask. Then, I'll finish stash maps, it's very interesting to find all stashes at last. By the way, about stashes, I've used mod of angrydog (thanks to PYP for the link) that makes loot reachable. No more those bandages in the trees, I hope. Didn't test it yet. Also, I've made flashlight yellow. More atmospheric, I think. And it's making light without this horrible glowback from walls. Still thinking about range.
There is some work ahead. But mod is almost finished. May be I'll make gameplay video, or trailer for release. So stay tuned.
