A modification for Mount and Blade: Warband, set in the universe of George R. R Martins "A Song of Ice and Fire". Also known as the popular HBO TV-series "Game of Thrones".
Looks like the Ruins of Castamere will be moved in the next update (used to be by the mountains near Sarsfield and Hornvlade), and that is good: while the precise location of Castamere is not known, it is said to be near the Tarbeck Hall and the Crag, both of which are located on northwestern coast of the Westerlands (the word "mere" - an old English word for a body of water should be enough of a hint)
According to GRRM, Castamere gets its name from the river Casta, so that's pretty spot on.
However, haven't moved Castameres location in 1.4, removed it instead. The new info from the Westerlands reading revealed that Castamere was a mostly underground fortress, and that Tywin Lannister had the ruins flooded with water when he destroyed the house.
I don't think it should be removed. Even though the fortress was mostly underground and these underground areas were flooded the fortifications and halls that were above ground were put to torch - something that could justify small ruins like the Ruins of Castamere as they were depicted in the mod.
