Why this boards? One would think that raiders from sea use something more lighter and ergonomic than pavise

In the show they made the ironborn shields pavise-like, tower shields. I guess that Cozur took them as example. And acording to Victarion's POV, the Ironborn prefer to use heavy equipment even when raiding or boarding on sea, because for them death by drowning guarantees a seat on the Grey King's table. So no light shields for them.

Indeed. They're all about heavy armor.

I thought it was just the most fanatical who used heavy armour? I mean, it's a huge deal that Victarion uses plate mail, even amongst the Ironborn.

If you look the image closely, you will see that only half a dozen or 8 or so ironborn wear heavy armour. The rest use leather. But it may be more about status and money that fanatism. Anyways, most ironborn raiders are pretty much of a fanatic.

Bear in mind that these are much smaller than for instance a crossbowman's or arbalest's pavise would be, they don't look heavy to me at all but quite protective and relatively easy to make imo.
