Original weapon renewal is more consistent, they all look equally good and so do the animations. The other two have some dips in quality and AO3 gets annoying after a while, specially if you're playing with the AI unbalancer like I do, handling over 20 NPC with pin-point accuracy goes from challenging to frustrating pretty quickly.

Apparently it is broken, I started a new game and found a merc trying to attack me pretty early on.

Is there any way to fix my relationship with a faction? I'm playing as Clear Sky and I guess I shot a Mercenary at some point and now everyone is out to kill me. If I recall correctly, earlier versions were more forgiving about this kind of things, they seem to have a "never forget, never forgive" mentality now, it is getting annoying. I most likely shot one of them while trying to save him from a bloodsucker and now everything is f*cked :s.

I just found it after extensive search. Can't try it myself right now as I haven't finish downloading the game, but it seemed to be from the same source I got it last time so it should be fine.

Early on when the mod was first leaked and some time after the first official release, there was a small add-on called something like "AI unf*ucker" or "unbalancer" that made the spawn system and, to a degree, the overall AI/A-life behavior more erratic and unpredictable. It could end up getting to crazy, but it was really fun to play with that add-on. Does anyone know if that's still available somewhere? If so, does anyone know if it still works with current version?

Why are you so invested into making it work from Steam? Just make a shortcut to your desktop and enjoy the game. The devs or no one should bother to find a solution for such a trivial matter. Good luck with that though.

Soc has nothing to do with this mod.

Mutant parts are meant to be turned over on quests, rather than sold individually. Also, some mutant parts are actually quite valuable and you can waste a lot less if you bring people with you.
Haven't checked lately, but Military had quests too (played them during the leak).

Or just avoid fights you can't win, it's not like you can't out run blood suckers.

I've been playing this for a while and although I do like a lot of the features that are incorporated into the game, I found it to be way to hard for my taste. I play for fun after I come out of work and while I'm not studying for college, definitely don't need a frustrating experience as an entrainment.

Just finished installing and the game seems to be working like a charm. Running smoothly even with hi-res textures.
I'm getting mix voices and no subtitles (can't remember if it was always like that, haven't played Stalker in a while).
I also got killed at the first stalker camp, right after I walk out side the bunker. I wasn't holding anything (not even a bolt), I didn't even run. I'm sure this wasn't like this before and it doesn't make much sense either.

This mod looks awesome really. I'll come back with feed back in a few days. Just wanted to report that it was working perfectly, just followed the instructions on the download section.

Well, I'm installing right now and I just realize I don't know where the texture pack is xD. I'm fully aware I've to download it and install it manually and I'm also quite sure about how to do it.

Well, a loli mod with this engine would look pretty awesome. Other than that I can't of much use for it...neither about the actual sims series xD.

-Would love to see a weapon list, a nice little detail we all want to have when you're looking at a mod.
-Please review the model of that red-dot, the lens can't be perfectly clear or at least I haven't seen a cristal clear sight in my life (I mean in real life).

If you need suggestions about the weaponry I've a couple that might work well in the zone. I'll post them later.

Well, must of us don't do much else for the development of mods other than playing them and reporting bugs. I don't see what is wrong about it, I rather find bugs than do nothing and wait for the finished product.

Why on earth is the M16 an Sniper rifle?

The wait is killing me, Bf3 might be able to ease me for a while, but what I really want now is to roam around the zone :D.

Looks lovely, all but the G36 that is.
The selector is still inverted vertically (not sure if you can fix that) and both the grip and the magwell should be texture less, I mean no rough looking grip (smooth, very similar to the trigger group seen on the navy Mp5) and no vertical lines running along the magwell (just smooth, like vanilla textures but looking awesome and battle-worn like yours :D).
Despite this minor details, looking great, really can't wait for release, keep it coming!.

Well, it is FAMAS now but it wasn't before.
I couldn't be happier, thank N.Aaroe for getting the correct FAMAS G2 into the game, now I can die happily (well, once I get to play the game that is)

Yeah, I already pointed out that issue about the Bulpup rifle. That is not a FAMAS, there has never been any FAMAS version that looks like that.
Only the rear half of the gun is a FAMAS, the grip is very different from any other version of said rifle (it kind of looks like the Croatian VHS) and the front part is just wrong (hand guard is too short, the back of the carry handle is different and both the barrel muzzle break look weird), reminds me of the rifles the EVAs used in Evangelion (the anime).

I'd suggest either replacing it with a correct model (I'm a huge fan of the rifle, I'd love to have it in the zone) or swamping it for an AUG, which is an eastern europe bulpup rifle that is much more likely to be in the zone (a wide-spread weapon sold to foreign countries, the FAMAS is the complete opposite).

The third weapon(which I guess you suppose is FAMAS) it's just a fantasy thing, kind of mix between the French rifle and Croatian VHS with an weird cut at the end handguard.

You got that model wrong, there is no FAMAS that looks like that.

I'm 100% sure that gun on your pic isn't a FAMAS.
