Got it working.
1. Make sure to disable shadows.
2. Copy a Zero Hour Executable if you have it and put it in the WWII folder.
3. Let the Launcher download all the files it needs to.
That said, it seems kind of unfair for the Germans to have access to armor from their command center. I wasn't able to get enough Matildas to defend against all the armored cars of the Reich coming from all directions. I'm not sure if it was the map, but the Allies didn't work and their command center failed to display. Germain Airfield also failed to show up.
I'm getting the same error for technical difficulties.
Any hope of the skills crash ever being fixed?
Yeah, I was having issues with that as well. Maybe it's the map, or he's disabled it for a reason.

While all the scopes are in the game, many of the quick reaction scopes show no actual "dot" or whatever implement for aiming. It's always the actual scope with nothing in the middle. Any idea what that could be?
This. I was fully expecting to take care of Flint and proceed with optional quests. With this goof up I'm effectively locked out of at least 5 quests.
Noticed something weird. The radio chatter was still in Russian when I played earlier in the week, but now it's in English. The problem is, now the portraits in all instances are either missing, stretched to the point of wtf, or show multiple portraits in the already tiny frames. Now this is least important, but strelok's arms never seem to change with what he's wearing, it's always the brown bandit jacket he starts off with.

Pirate that ****. EA doesn't deserve the money. Scratch that, I apparently can't read a little further down. My statement still stands however.
Pretty much done with the game. The last 15% of the game is so god damned difficult. If it's not the mutants it's Monolith; if it's not Monolith, it's blowouts and anomalies, if it's not blowouts and anomalies, it's mutants thus renewing the cycle. Aside from all those shenanigans that induce a rage brighter than that of the sun, it's fun. Crashed during the run into the CNPP when the Hinds are shelling monolith and talking to the C-Conciousness. Absolutely no idea why either happened.
GDI already has a Medic, might as well give them a Mechanic. Nod can have the Repair bot I guess.
Son of a bitch. Got to The Dark Valley and I'm greeted with a horde of about 20 Blind Dogs, 20 Tushkanos, a Controller, and a Chimera. That's just too much. I can't even save the Duty member that gives the quest to rescue the Duty member. IF he got up on the rocks like I did it would be possible. I got to the wounded stalker and killed the Bloodsucker just to have him run outside and aggro 2 Electro Chimeras. No. Just no.
Got to Agroprom and into the tunnel easily. Spent an hour trying to kill the soldiers and get the intel (Didn't have a silenced pistol on me.) I then make my way to the exit when out of nowhere a Pseudogiant and two chimeras spawn within 50 yards of me. Needless to say, they killed me. After several respawns, I managed to scare the giant (read: I ran like hell,) and luckily killed both chimeras, only to have some soldiers hit me with a golden bb. I promptly exited the game. My nightmare will only get worse ;_;
It only "looks" finished. The art assets are not at what they'd like them to be. No modelers and texture-ers are signing up to help them. From what I remember they're pretty much done with a lot of the coding. They've stated many times throughout the years that they want to release a quality product, one they and we could be proud of. Something that completely shames EA's work. That last sentence is embellishment but I'm sure that's what everyone is looking for in this mod.
Holy crap, what the hell happened in here. Selfish punks. If ModDB let you edit the sides of the page, you should put "**** You" on the left and "It's done when it's done" on the right. Is there a moderator for the mod's page that can delete all that spam and negativity?
That aside, how goes the hunt for help?
I'm just going to torrent the game and patch it up to 1.004. I paid for it already and GSC is no more so why not.
Holy ****, this! It's like you read my rant a few pages back. They really do need a severe nerfing. The problems are especially prevalent at the Bar, Wild Territory, and Yantar.
I'm pretty sure Carnius is doing most of the workload on his mod. So essentially it's the same problem there.
Best part about CnC 3 is that mods go in a manager so they don't break the game. You can play all the mods you could ever want.
If they can't use the supply pads, maybe they can I dunno, build tib spikes. I'm sure somewhere in the lore GDI is the one that came up with that tech, it would make sense if they managed to "cap" veins of tib in such a fashion in order to control it.
I had played a map where there were only two fields of blue tib on the map so it made you rely on tib spikes. What I hadn't realized was that there were neutral tib silos that were giving me more money than the spikes. I kinda agree on the defenses, they need to be buffed slightly.
Check back a page in the comments. l3wddanc3r and I were/are having the problem.
Sweet Jesus. Everyone chill. It's like nobody takes me up on my advice to drop in occasionally and just wait. Few people have waited as long as I have and do you see me crying about it? If I knew how to do anything that would help the mod I would contribute immediately. That said, if you happen to know how to code/model/skin sign up already.
As it turns out, something is wrong with the new patch. How do I know this? I used the amk fix for 1.005 and the game is working now. That is of course, it replaced whatever was in 1.6a so it's highly likely none of the new features work anymore, but I'll try copying 1.6a back into it to see if it works.
EDIT: Yup. Something in 1.6a is ******* everything up.
How'd you manage that? I'm having the same problem and I really would not want to downgrade. Why the hell won't all the modders just try and fix 1.005?
