I think Prey was probably my favourite, followed by Doom, Quake 4 was the weakest really.

Yeah, I didn't think PC Halo was up to much, but, years later I've found out they kinda messed up the graphics on it, I always thought they looked pretty bland on PC.

But ill go with Doom3, Half Life was WAY overrated, and although I think it will be AWESOME and cant wait for it to come out, I just think not enough people are voting for D00M3.

Im on dial up though, no way can i get 80+ mb, I cant even get 35 mb before getting disconnected.

Quake 3 has storyline- The Vadrigar captured the universes greatest warriors and put them in an arena to fight each other.
Not the exact words but thats what the story was basically.

And, I found a few single player quake3 mods
1 on moddb, and a few on Planetquake.

People dont just make mods to improve games, in some cases there was nothing wrong with the games-
People make mods to include their own Ideas in the games.

But you are right, games should be made right the first time, we shouldnt have to correct the mistakes they made.

Are there any Free mdl editors? , Quark isnt a full mdl editor and qme is a trial version that only lets you save 6 frames.

Duke3d was an awesome game, one of my favorite games of all time. Also, it was extremely easy to map for, because of the sectors. :)

Yeah, Half Life is awesome, but it will never defeat the power of QUAKE!!!! Yeah!

This looks kinda like that old megadrive game where you had to go round that company place shooting things. looks cool in a weird 1991 kind of way.......

This is great! just a shame i couldnt get any further, when you go in the helicopter and after its loaded you start the next level in the helicopter, my guy just kept dyin for no reason.
Cant wait for raptors 2 now!
