Now here's an odd thing. I've noticed that sometimes damaged weapons I have stashed away would be repaired by a few percentage points. I think it happens when the level they are stashed in is loaded. This can apparently be repeated until the condition reaches 100 %.

Hi,
where would you put the weapon parts overhaul and outfit parts overhaul in the load order? I've been moving them around, but there is always something not working right. Be it that the field stripping option is missing, that I can't eject magazines, that repair kits still only have 4 charges, etc.

I have noticed an issue with the Saiga. The weapon description says that it has a 10 round capacity, but all magazines you find are 8 round. I think because of this you can reload the gun even with a full magazine. Also when reloading, the ammo type chosen from the radial menu isn't adhered to. Often when I reload the Saiga I end up with a different ammo type than I had previously, even though i still have full magazines with the previous ammo type in inventory.

I am using the PRM weapon pack, the mod_realistic_sounds by antoxa, and the knife pack by V@leroK. All installed via the Lost Alpha Configurator.

Also, the path gamedata\sounds\... does not exist in my folder. gamedata contains the 'levels' subdirectory and a bunch of .db* files, no 'sounds' subdirectory.

When I try to start a new game (have no old save-files) the game will freeze and I have to kill it via task manager. Then it will tell me that the X-ray engine has crashed. However, the log-file inside the personal documents folder is empty.

Ok, I looked at the weapon files in this addon and it seems that not all of the files have been altered, among others the file for the Colt, the Enfield, the Makerov and the two SIG weapons.

Could it be that you mistook some files when you reuploaded the addon? I'm just asking because the readme doesn't say anything about incompleteness.

Got me the realistic weapons addon and was pretty much unstoppable in the Agroprom Research Institute once I found the upgraded AK74 in Strelok's stash. Sure I died a few times once I was inside the base but compared to how long it took me in vanilla I almost flew through there with little effort.

BTW is it normal that the weapon stats display is a bit off here and there? The blue bars tell me that the Fort 12 deals like 6 times more damage than the Walther or the Colt 1911 (!) and the Enfield doesn't even deal out half the damage of the Ak74 or the AN94 for example. That just strikes me as a wee bit weird Oo

Other than that? Awesome ****! :D

Well, it might be the case that I simply need a new pair of glasses but I looked all over the place and I couldn't find a filefront link for the mod, not here, not in the forum, not on the 'official website' and the search function of filefront has shown no usefull results so far (or did you mean the lagacy versions?).
Then again, I have this weird talent for not seeing **** when the solution is right in front of me so it's probably just me.
Help is very appreciated none the less.

Maybe I'm just nitpicking here but the red dot sight of the G36 produces only a red dot (hence the name) and not a small crosshair ;)

Nah, seriously. This mod is on top of my 'gonna waste days-playing-this right when it comes out' list together with lost alpha.

But speaking of red dot sights: I really missed those in ShoC and CS, especially on the G36. Would be nice if one could switch between the different sights on that shooter and it would also be cool to buy red dot sights for other weapons like the M4 or the G36C just like scopes.

I would love to try out the newest build of this mod but I have trouble playing it. The game does load, no trouble there but all I see is white on white. White backgrounds + completly white ships = can't see ****.

Game is patched up and not a cracked version or something like that.

Can't wait for this mod to be finished. It is always refreshing to see people invest so much time to make a good mod. Many mods out there are often unbalanced ****.
Would also like to see some rebalancing of the weapons like for example in the rebalanced mod. I know the AK 94 is to much of a super-weapon in that mod but the AK 74 making less damage than the G36 in vanilla is something I personally can't stand (we soldiers probably pay way to much attention to things like that ;) ). But I understand that your project does take up enough time as it is now ;)
