I've just checked it.

SPOILER
Just follow the King's Road north. There's a farmstead just north of Winterfell - you can't miss it. Enter the farmstead, kill the raiders and return to Robb Stark.

Sorry, can't help you with that, pal. The farmstead should be north of Winterfell...

Slavery is outlawed in Westeros. Have you tried Slaver's Bay? There are still slave traders. Talk to Mullen, for example.

Yes, there are quests, but not that many. We're already working hard on adding more. But it's pretty tough for a three-man team.

I like that attitude of yours. Right now we're far away from any sort of translation. I'm working on proofreading the entire mod, which is a bit more than 44,000 lines of code so far. I've done that sort of thing before, so I'm actually quite aware of what's ahead of me. However, translation is something completely different: don't underestimate the massive corpus of text you've to deal with. Nevertheless, if you're really up to it and want to help us, join our forum and see what you can do. www.AWorldofIceandFire.co.uk/Forums

There are wandering crows in different taverns. Just talk to them and you can give them your prisoners.

In a perfect world, mod authors wouldn't see each other as competition and try to blackmail each other. In a perfect world, players wouldn't complain about mods but learn how to code or edit scenes themselves in order to provide help. In a perfect world, mod authors wouldn't have to do the entire work alone or would have to pay professionals for 3D models. In a perfect world, I had my own harem...

First download "A World of Ice and Fire Beta 8.5" and unzip it into your module folder. Then download the patch for "A World of Ice and Fire Beta 8.6" and unzip into the same folder, overwriting the old files. If your game isn't pirated, it should work then.

Best way to report bugs is to go to our forum and post them there: www.AWorldofIceandFire.co.uk/Forums.. With so many lines of dialogue and code there's always the possibility that something went wrong. If you simply post here, the chance that the ones responsible miss your comment is much higher than in the forum. Thanks.

Just join our forum at www.AWorldofIceandFire.co.uk/Forums - that's probably the best way to present your ideas, get feedback, or, if you're really willing to help, learn about coding yourself. Even if you're not able or willing to do that, you can still post your ideas there, definitely better than here.

You can reduce the verbosity in the game options: usually that is shot distance, XP, damage and other useless stuff you don't need at all. Switching most of them off should reduce those messages.

Then we both are fools. What I didn't do was to read the text in the town description: my character's renown is too low. The character has either to be a noble or must be renowned enough to participate in the tourney.

I've just a simple question: is the entire dialogue of this mod in the conversation.txt file? That would be pretty nice as it is easy to modify for me.

I played this mod a long a time ago and started again with the new version. I really like this mod, but there are also some issues I've come across that are really annoying. Given that the mod is under development for such a long time I cannot really understand why those issues still exist.

1. Companions equipped with lances don't change to melee weapons in close combat. This makes lances virtually useless as they make your companions highly vulnerable after the first impact. I remember that in your older version, NPCs on foot even changed to lances in close combat, which was utterly useless. I've seen other mods using scripts to make NPCs changing from lances to melee weapons when entering close combat, isn't there some similar script in this mod?

2. Some sound effects such as rain override any other sounds. I remember that this was already in the older versions. Can't you fix that?

3. The free camera in battle continuation is atrocious. Again I've seen very smooth free cameras in mods such as Gekokujo. Are there plans to improve that issue?

4. I'm not sure if this is experienced by other players, but there are no tourneys in my game. There are feasts, but no tourneys.

5. Why can't the player switch off companions' complaints? I've already said years ago that having a developer force you to play the mod only the way he wants it isn't the best idea. Perusing forums, one can see that there are many players annoyed by the companions complaining about each other, so that is actually a viable issue. At the moment I've to use TweakMB to get rid of those complaints, and that's definitely not the best solution. Why don't you simply give the player the option to switch them off?
