Half Life Prison

Mod review

I have been thoroughly enjoying Half-Life: Prison v2.1 crossplatform v1.0.1 what a treat to have a piece of work that really tests confounds and pushes ones gameplay to the absolute limit.
Reactor’s individual talent shines in his ability to set up puzzles and fights together with a relentless and overwhelming precision.
His mapping is superb, a delight to look at and he makes use of every niche nook cranny and angle to maintain the momentum of the game.
I never imagined so many surprises and clever tricks could be done in a half life mod.
Reactor is a true master. Thanks

Half-Life : Echoes

Mod review

Since 1998 (first pc) amongst other characters had played games as Prisoner 849,Lara Croft,Shadow Man,Marine Bitterman,Matthew Kane, another unnamed marine,Gordon Freeman,an unnamed Prince, a Point Man,it goes on.

And now Candidate #12..

When one plays a video game, level, mod or whatever, entertainment is what I look for and James Cockburn's Echoes does just that. Echoes frustrates and seems like hard work in places,I feel all the best do the same although one is also totally immersed as if in a film or a dream. From the beginning, Cockburns's apparent ability to use his sets, actors and dialogue shows his cinematic knowledge of such entertainment and as a director readily deserves the praise of others here.

With pathos and comedy the horror and suspense a film like experience with many human like touches make it stand out as a fine achievement.

The brave choice and use of Kevin MacLeod's sound track is solidly impressive and once again is implemented by Cockburn with a careful and meticulous understanding of the extremely important role it has.

James Cockburn's individual passion and enthusiasm for Half Life is obvious and his last five years work creating Echoes clearly reflects his love of the game.

Thank you James.
