hm I'm trying to add this to heat of battle on bf2hdsp but im getting this error.

texture not found:
menu/hud/texture/ingame/killtext/numbermarksman/x100

I'm assuming its missing from menuclient.zip but i don't know where to find it.

I know this is an old hat but looking how well these mods are I'm so sad that instead of releasing the game codes so modders can fix AI commander they instead shut down a fan run multiplayer platform; and the new battlefield games lacks so many of features that BF2 has... bots, ai support, grapping hooks, etc

What's new in the 1.0.1?

Multiple reticles missing/cross hairs, from us spec ops and Chinese Tanks, also some mgs on vehicles and helicopters. Think it was included in the patch file but it was late and I couldn't be stuffed to check why game crashed with the updated object client. Hoping 1.0.1 is an intergrated ver.

But kudos to the explosions and integrating the kill indicator from AGM114D AKA Lee-berty seamlessly.

suggestions include:

I feel that the UI is a little lacking though especially for flag capture. It's a bit difficult to track progress (due to blue on blue and red on red). Another point is more warnings for Vehicular Health, ie the lack of it. I keep finding myself dying suddenly cause I've been aiming too much and didn't keep track of that critical hit that brought me below comfort levels.

I'm not sure whether it is intentional, but us assault ads is extremely slow, The view is extremely limited for the us assault helicopter (forces players use homing, instead of the main skill-based missles) and tinted for transport chopper on Wake Island. Special Weapon counter for aircrafts is quite small on the left instead of with the main weapon ammo counter on the right.

Wake Island (in general but especially that map) AI mapping needs a bit of improvement for the bots on the US TEAM to take up more aircrafts and vehicles at the start so they don't just swim towards aerial bombing and helicopter missles. Also some bots just stand around (running 40 bots) The AI for infantry and vehicle shooting is great though.

Sorry, just one more thing, do you know how to change menu background music and menu background;
tried converting to .ogg then replacing then found out and from net it doesn't work. (due to hard coding I read?)

As for menu background tried to download the anime bf2 logo image as .bik (somehow it worked) but it doesn't work when replacing menu and menu.loggin

BF5 trailer released...still no sign of bots and modding...
BF1942 x BF2142, weird but tolerable? add in Cod Advance warfare (futuristic prosthetics, neither future/historical impractical cosmetics and one man army plot armour).

Interesting roll of the dice, but less than just risky; still gonna hope for a satisfactory game.

Is there supposed to be a menu server file in this mini mod?
Cause it says that I am missing javelin lock box friendly from menu client, and I can't change the menu server to ignore it, cause I can't find it.

Tl;dr Crashing on startup due to missing texture or menu server file.
Please help, cheers

Lol whoops, many thanks. I checked out the BF2 freelook but for some reason, it doesn't detect my bf2 (legit version) so I gave up on it. Using mouselook does make it a slight pain, but it's not too bad.

However, after playing the map for a variable number minutes, it CTDs for me. Sometimes I can finish a round or two with no crashes but sometimes it crashes after five or ten minutes, tried other maps too see whether it was general problem, but it wasn't.

Still a great mod, cause the map is so much more beautiful than red dawn.

Doesn't seem to, I tried to put it in the commons file, that didn't work so I placed it in client.zip\Common\Sound\Levelambients which also doesn't work.

P.s sorry I didn't read the mousselook thing in the read.me, trying get that to work now too.

Thank you for incorporating the ranking system into SP it feels nice meeting achievements.
I'd just like to ask; how can you change the scoring system for captures as the python statistics file seemed to only have kills/assists/teamkills etc since the achievements seem to only last for one match, thus high tier medals are out of reach.
It may be imprudent to ask, (new to mod sites), is it possible for you to tell me how to incorporate the ranking system into other mods for personal use?
