Grrr, you beat me to posting feedback first darkelf1, suppose it isn't a competition, lol.

Anyhow, brilliant map @Exorcizm, also been jamming it with the AI Bot support version, plays superb. The bots did activate the electrocution area, luckily I was on the outside, so I survived, haha.

Plays lovely with Annex (my fav mode). Added 4 additional bots, for a max total of 12 players. Game feels more balanced that way to me and more action packed. Love the overall theme of the map, industrial/junkyard vibe - the flow is also nice.

Please don't stop making maps, you're really talented - hope to see more in the future :)

Yeah you can use addbot 0 for COG and addbot 1 for Locust.
You can also add the skill level for each as follows:

addbot 0 1(casual)
addbot 0 2(hardcore)
addbot 0 3(insane)

What I normally do is I type addbot 0 2, press enter, then addbot 1 2, press enter. Then if you press up arrow, you can alternate between the two to spawn a bot each time on either side. This will avoid adding bots to either side with a skin of the opposite side if you just use "addbot", meaning it will add a locust player but he will have a cog skin and vice versa.

Yeah, sadly only PC players will be able to join and another thing to keep in mind, any maps that they don't have will be downloaded from you. It just takes a long time for the maps to download, but they do. Console players won't be able to sadly, so yeah. Perhaps rename your room to reflect you're hosting the DM Jam maps and provide a URL shortened link to direct them here to download it. Like "MP Jam @ bit.ly/dmj"

Congrats on the awesome update with the Advanced AI. I was wondering is it possible to force the game into widescreen somehow? Even if its stretched :)

Just a quick update, I managed to get Bot Warfare running on a dedicated server for Plutonium. Anyone interested should check out the Plutonium forum section for BO1 hosting, as I uploaded a guide there. Dont want to link it here, not sure if its allowed.

Plutonium released their T5 client today (3 June 2022). Is there perhaps a chance that you can update the mod to make it compatible with dedicated servers like all your other mods? Me and a friend want to play and rank up. I know Combat Training allows this, but still want this functionality for dedicated servers too. I would be forever grateful if you could do this, please.

Yeah, I too noticed the hit detection error on certain bots, thought I was going crazy. Will also revert to previous version next time I play. Still, having bots in WaW is crazy good and a lot of fun :D

Since I've posted, I re-installed the game once more and the mods menu is now working as it should, not sure what went wrong first time round.

Even if Openspy support isn't a priority right now, glad to hear that something can be done in the future to support it :)

Will check out the Discord as I'm keen to try out the MP of the game.

I have two questions though:

1) How on earth does one activate the mods as mine are grayed out and can't seem to enable them?

2) From the multiplayer side of things, is it possible to add a string or entry from Rogue Spear: Urban Ops to the Black Ops 2.0 exe file that references the following Gamespy entry: master.gamespy.com..\queryid\%d.%d..\echo\%s

In the Urban Ops exe file, the section begins at offset 00462DE0 and ends at 00462E10. Its the only reference to gamespy in the entire urbanops.exe file.

This is most likely a strange request, however, the original rogue spear and rogue spear urban ops is playable via Openspy.net (http://beta.openspy.net/), see list of supported titles over here: Beta.openspy.net

I know one can use direct IP connect or programs such as Hamachi, RadminVPN etc to also play online, but having Openspy support in addition for Black Ops 2.0 would also be welcome addition to the mod for those of us that use and play games via Openspy!

If its not possible to rework the mod to add support for Openspy due to all the modifications that you made, I'll understand, but if you can, it will be awesome!

PS: I tried manually adding it to the Black Ops 2.0 exe with HxD, but it obviously changes the byte size of the exe, which renders the exe void to launch the game.

Love the mod to death. I would like to setup multiplayer servers for the game. So far I haven't had any success yet. Upon map load and try to join the game, it crashes.

I know you developed the game as a SP mod, but hell, this would be awesome fun with friends and bots online.

The mod is multiplayer only, therefore the campaign is NOT present. The option to change the difficulty of the bots is still a work in progress and will be added in a future update.

This is probably a daft question, but can anyone tell me how to play this level in UT99? Do I launch it via the console? If so, which commands ?

First of all, brilliant mod, I love it!

One issue that I have picked up:

Sometimes after a round has been completed, it will show the incorrect team that has won the round or simply "Round Draw"

Also, I think the fact that the server browser doesn't show the mod will be a huge issue with player numbers :(

Hopefully in the future this is something that can be fixed.

One question from my side, I assume you'll add more classic maps, like de_dust in the future?
