I think it makes the cav feel not so unique, they are supposed to be the order that only fights on horses with lances, they dont really train for foot combat, but they kick *** on horses
I think that would ruin the point of these guys being the best cav unit in the mod, so the answer is no
yea, they are based o nthem as I really like the look

Thank you, This one is not entirely me, I downloaded the model of a beast a very long time ago for free, but unfortunately I cant trace it back to credit the person who made it, as for my work on this, I changed the textures and added all the armor. For concepts of units, I mostly make them myself, but sometimes I take some parts from existing art from other games, such as bloodborne for hartstein monarchy.
I have some ideas for an italian/french dwarven faction but thats way down the road,as for roman and byzantine factions they are not likely to get in the mod as im one of the rare people who dont like their appereance
True, but bloodborne has a lot of gunpowder weapons in it

thank you, and yes, creating new language is far beyond my skill, thats why I use existing languages,in the northguard northern unit names there are already some words from nordic languages, and also place and character names are taken from the same languages.

I just like creating models and make fantasy concepts, and this being a mod that isnt based on anything but my imagination I can make whatever designs I want and noone can tell me that its wrong.
My mod is more focused around political warfare, and even tough there will be evil monster factions, there arent any sauron type bad guys that want to conquer the world, its more of a faction vs faction type of war where essentialy everyone wants dominance but have to slowly grind through their neighbours to get there.

Duo to game limitations in the direction we are heading with our balrogs, gothmog is not likely to be a playable character in campaign, but he is planned to make an appereance in some way.

well then the shields are useless and they are only there to make the unit look cool
yeah, just becouse they dont fight with them doesnt mean they are useless, also they look cool
I appreciate the ofter, but I have been cought up in my other projects and hobbies so much that with the scale of this I dont think anything will come of it, I took a project far too big for the time I have avaliable
