That'd be great. I like having a chance to just watch, without any of the work needed to build all the ships and get them together.
Do you think you could include this as a skirmish map? I know there's the menu battle, but it would be helpful as a player to have a stress test so you could play with settings and see how well your computer runs the mod. Also, that was a really fun battle to watch on the stream, and I'd love to be able to play it or something like it myself.
I ask about the effect speed, and the next day this masterpiece is revealed. You've outdone yourself, yet again. Now someone just needs to get rid of that timer that pops up when firing.
Have you sped up the animation at all? It feels a bit too long in previous videos.

Yeah, this mod has a ton of attention to detail. Stuff like the small untargetable weapons on ships; there are a lot of people I know who don't realize how powerful the star destroyer is in this mod, because everyone is used to just looking at the hardpoints to judge how powerful a ship is. Same with the asymmetry; dancing around imperial capital ships dodging laser bolts is so fun.
Oh, and the graphics of course. This really is a Star Wars experience.
You know, this is one of those things in EAW which I've always subconsciously hated but never considered as something which would be fixed. You've made my day. Everything you post makes me more excited for the next version.

Yeah. I don't know how Petroglyph looked at the Star Wars movies and interpreted literally nothing as spiral death beam.

Also, if you remove the tractor beam effect (I think I saw it in a recent video) you will be my God. That thing is just the worst.

The bridge does feel a little dinky at the back there. Other than that, super cool.

I agree. I jut don't see how one would make an adequate nebula obstacle, since the hard edge ruins it. I'd just like to see the nebula object removed. They appear on many galactic conquest maps and skirmish maps, and I think it'd be too much work to go through every map and redo them.
I think the hypervelocity cannon should have a quick damage fix so it does some damage. I'd also like to see an updated reinforcement list for space stations. They don't have enough to actually defend against a moderate attack.
I was talking about ship lights on the Nebula-Class Star destroyer. Although, a new nebula/electric storm effect would literally be the greatest addition to EAW modding ever. That or just removing the things entirely, since they completely ruin immersion.
For some reason no one cares about the nebula. Modders put hundreds of hours into beautiful models, textures, particles, sounds, even custom dialogue in some cases, but when it comes to the nebula obstacle they just ignore it.

Got up from my computer after 8 hours of gameplay, and only to go to the bathroom.
This is the greatest mod for EAW. Love the new skirmish maps and the new damage system.
It seems kind of touch-and-go when it comes to bugs in the comments, but I haven't run into any, so yay.
In the event you every release a patch or new version, my only request is putting the new style of lights on the space stations and nebula. They seem kind of plain.

The "Forces of Corruption" folder is actually the folder named "EAWX." Create a folder named "Mods" (if there isn't already one there). You put the mod in that folder, then create a text file and type:
swfoc MODPATH=Mods\EAW-Re
Save the file as "(whatever you want).bat" Put the .bat file in the EAWX folder. Then you just have to double-click the .bat file to run the mod.
None of the skirmish maps have proper lighting, planets or skyboxes like they do in your videos. Is this a problem on my end or do you have to mod in higher quality skirmish maps?
Huh. Something happened, since it was crashing every five minutes before I used the 4gb patch, and after verifying the game cache it has worked perfectly.
I can't guaranteed that it will work, but I verified the game cache and it worked perfectly. Try that.
