Sorry for the lack of september update, but we're no longer going by the Monthly updates, we're going by when we feel it needs a update.

We did post content for a September update, but we never got around to creating a news article for it, but I will rectify that asap.

Why use the Freespace 2 code when it has no commercial viability, nor is it advanced enough for us to make what we want to make.

The player character will not be exposed to space, like it was originally planned in the CE2 Version, this was dropped for various reasons.

Yes the project is now back in production, there is still things going on in my life that prohibit me from being able to do as much as I'd like, but other than that, things are starting to get back on track.

Sorry for the lack of news and updates recently, it was unavoidable.

Well what you think is incorrect, it's not out fault we cannot make X32I on the Cryengine it's the fact that it cant be made, the modsdk is not suitable for our needs, and the editor that comes with Crysis/warhead is buggy to say the least.

If it can't be made on the Cryengine with what we have available it can't be made, no amount of whining will ever change that. Do you really believe I wanted to dump a engine I've personally worked with for 3 years to a engine I've never worked with for the sake of "selling out"? No, fact is, X32I can not be done on the Cryengine unless we have access to a Cryengine similar in style to the UDK, but the fact is Epic came and delivered what we need to make the game, and we took it.

You do realise that this is standalone right? You do not need to "have a engine" to be able to play this game. You just install the game and play it.

As for people complaining about the engine switch over, I find it rather childish that people care more about what is powering a game, rather than if the game is good or not. Engines do not dictate a games playability, the games do, now focus on if it's going to be a good game, not if a pixel would be rendered better on the Cryengine or the Unreal Engine. The graphics and game are not going to be downgraded just because we've switched engines, trust me if I thought the quality was going to go down I wouldn't have switched over my self.

Yes you can walk around the cruisers, and visit key areas. More details will be posted as they are available in future updates.

The Yamato is one of the largest ships, it's so large because it's basically a mobile ship construction yard, it has many docking ports for even larger ships to dock with it, and is basically used so it can create new ships for the UEA even if they are far away from any of the major colonies.

Pushing the term Aerodynamics to the extreme. Not only can this ship like the earlier ship fly forwards, up, down, and back, but also like the last design, what ship wouldn't be complete without headlights? Space is dark, and you know that the light is going to brighten up the reaches of space for at least 5 meters.

Introducing the Transport ship with it's swivel-o-matic engines, and it's obviously very aerodynamic design. This ship can fly up down, forwards and backwards, but if you need to turn, then the ladder is there for you to get out and push the ship.

You will see gameplay footage later in the year, and the switch to UDK may have delayed it a little bit, but it's better than sticking with the CE2 and not actually being able to make it, which you can't with Crysis.

Yes it is a huge flashlight :P, but it's only really used in the universe if a ship has a total system failure, where even the back-up systems fail. Otherwise it's just there for show. :P
