I can't get your Setup Factory exe to work for the life of me. I've downloaded the torrent version twice now. I extract all the files into folder and try and run your ME1UITM.exe, it runs but after a few seconds I get a "setup application has stopped responding" windows dialog box. I'm running Win7 x64. I've tried disabling my antivirus, various compatibility settings, permission settings, and even DEP settings. Any input or advice?

Is FOC patched to 1.1? sometimes that helps. Also are you running the shortcut/game as an administrator? Aww crap just remembered... If you can run FOC vanilla fine then you don't need the new XML file or new .dll included. But if you do than they always needs to be used. What you swap with is the swfoc.exe . If you have gold pack than the stock swfoc.exe is the gold version. The one from the fix is the swfoc.exe from the non-goldpack version of the game. Some mods work with gold version while others with regular version. So you can switch between the 2 to see if it works with one. BUT remember ALWAYS BACKUP ORIGINALS!!!

All those having issues running FOC (vanilla or mod) relate to if you have gold pack version and if your computer has greater than 2gb of RAM.
Some of the Mods i have don't run with the 2gb Ram fix. But some do. If i want to run Vanilla than i need the fix.

Arg crap! Dont look at me either cause im rubbish at coding and even if i was good at it im soo bogged down with hw and school.

No accurately i looked and it's the opposite. .bat files are larger(only by 1 kb). As for the speed not really. If it did it would only be by a few seconds. Plus with the this method you don't have that annoying command prompt pop up for 2 seconds.
